Dr. Pranav Chudgar, MD

I would fly to a different state to see Dr. Chudgar. Not only is he an amazing physician, he has great bedside manners. He cares for every patient like he would a family member. Thank you Dr. Chudgar for hearing me, and seeing me.

Dr. Chudgar has been my doctor for nearly 10 years and has gone above and beyond with the level of care and attention to my health. I have never had a doctor make me feel so at ease with an unfortunate diagnosis. I felt completely secure in his explanation of my situation and the on-going testing. If I move, which inevitably happens, I will travel back to Orlando to remain under Dr. Chudgar’s care.

Dr. Chudgar became my OB during my first pregnancy after seeing a previous OB that didn’t fit our needs. We recently had our second baby via C-section with him and would recommend him time and time again. I can remember feeling annoyed my first visit while waiting for him at my appointment, but those who see him can testify that his care, both in GYN and OB, is unparalleled and well worth whatever wait you may encounter. He is thorough in his explanations and plan for care. He listens to your concerns, and always errors on the side of caution for any possible issues. My husband and I joke that we wish we were having another baby because we enjoyed our office visits and checkups with Dr. Chudgar so much. He has been an integral part of our journey with kids and we feel lucky to have found such an awesome provider.

I would give him a zero if I could. Dr Chudgar tore my happy world apart on September the first, 2012 when he administered excessive escalating doses of Oxytocin drip to my wife. He and his team escalated the Oxytocin drip very fast, “ we are going to have this baby by 2 pm” he said. He caused her to have uterine rupture causing detachment of her left uterine artery from her uterine sending her into hemorrhagic shock giving her a blood pressure of 50/20 mmHg. She needed an 8 hour emergency surgery to save her life and many other doctors to come to save her life. She needed 21 units of blood products and has been weak for years and has never been the same. She had a near-death experience under his terrible medical care that has negatively impacted our lives. My life has been hell because of his inexperience at that time as an new unsupervised obstetric attending. He said I should have informed him I was a doctor, as she fought for her life in the ICU. No sorry ever came from him.

Dr. Chudgar was my OB for both of my pregnancies. I have a rare connective tissue disorder that was always thought to affect pregnancy but he always put me at ease. He will stay with you as long as you need for appointments to ensure every question is answered. Sometimes you do have to wait for appointments but I don’t mind because when it’s my turn for my appointment - he makes me feel like I’m the only patient in his office. He is a ONE OF A KIND doctor and my family is so thankful for him!

Dr. Chudgar is extremely kind and patient, but I def still had major issues with him and his staff. He did genetic testing when my Insurance doesn’t cover it. My new doc Dr Worley spotted it first thing and before I said anything said she will make sure U don’t get genetic tests done. The bill for genetic testing was $780.21 I cried my entire first appointment /sonogram because the office staff didn’t tell me my husband couldnt come Due to Covid-19. I was very distraught. Dr chudgar is not in network which I found after several appointments and sonograms, just because they accept my insurance doesn’t mean they are in network. Should have told me this ahead of time. Coming to him cost me thousands of dollars on top of my $3000 deductible. I think he is very nice and kind and I’m sure an excellent doctor (my nurse friend who works with him at Winnie said all the nurses recommend him) however, the lack of communication from him and his staff cost me thousands. Dr. Chudgar has been my doctor for about 5 years now and I absolutely love him. He's compassionate, considerate, professional and has great bedside manner. Over the years, I've had to visit other OBGYN's (due to where I lived for school) and none of those doctors even began to meet the standards set by Dr. Chudgar. Hands down, the best at what he does.

The best OB-GYN in Florida. So kind and thoughtful. Always has time for his patients. Very genuine. Excellent surgeon.

Dr. Chudgar is the very best physician I have ever met. He is professional, knowledgable, kind , courteous, wonderful surgeon, and he listens. AWESOME! I am so glad he chose Orlando. So if he is ever late which seldom happens. He is well worth the wait.

Dr. Chudgar and his staff are amazing. You will never feel rushed and Dr. Chudgar will take as much time with you as you need to be sure any and all concerns are addressed and that you fully understand what you are discussing. Dr. Chudgar took over for my previous OBGYN that I had gone to for over 10 years. I never thought I would be as comfortable with another doctor and I am even happier with him that I was with my original doctor. I recommend every woman I know to him.

Many of your patients have recommended you as a good doctor. But I am going to recommend you as a great human being and a fine gentleman. Also, More than being just professionals, I value the fact that your staff’s caring attitude is exceptional. Dr. Chudgar is an extraordinary doctor!!
