Dr Shah is the real deal. It’s obvious that he truly cares about his patients and is just an all around great guy. I’m so thankful for everything he has done for me! He’s the best hands down !

The last straw. Dr. Shah always seemed nice enough even though I was never satisfied with him. So I continued to see him and was always disappointed in the care I received. I severely hurt myself and required surgery and sooner was better then later. The surgeon (who is AMAZING) got me scheduled in less then a week (took longer due to COVID). They did all the pre-op testing and one test came back “abnormal”, as I knew it would because of my monthly visitor; the surgeon out of respect wanted me to see my PCP Dr Shah. Who then (after waiting over 45min in the waiting room and another 20 in the room) proceeded to LIE to the surgeon to try and stop the surgery. I have no idea why he choose to do this, but it was my breaking point and I refuse to ever see Dr Shah again.

Dr Shah was assigned to me at Good Samaritan hospital. He was generally smug and condescending. I was skeptical concerning the results of a blood culture that was done, as they can be affected by external contamination. He begrudgingly ordered a second test. When the diagnosis of septic listeriosis came days later, he wanted me to undergo a painful procedure (lumbar puncture) that was unnecessary according to my infectious disease specialist.
