Dr. Prashant Barakoti, MD

My doctor, Dr. Barakoti, is truly amazing and the best. He responds promptly and addresses every question with great care.

I was looking in basic care for my pre-existing conditions. I had just had a baby and was in a vulnerable place in life. He offered to perform pelvic and breast exams, even though obstetrics is not his field of medicine. I really had to argue with him to get him to stop insisting on these examinations. After he learned that I had a mole removed over 5 years ago, he practically demanded to examine my naked body for potential skin cancer. Again, dermatology is not his field of medicine. I've never felt so violated by a physician in my life. I was scared to return to the office to seek medical care but I couldn't get another civilian dr referral, through tricare.

Dr. Barakoti is a great and very thorough physician.

It took more than 6 days to refill a prescription even though the pharmacy requested the refill. More than 15 minuets for someone to answer the phone, In my opinion a very poorly practice.

The service provided was substandard. I was being seen as a new patient. I was instructed to follow up with my PCP for services provided by another hospital. Dr. Barakoti had to be forced to ask me questions concerning my past medical history. Their were other issues that concerned about this visit. When I told him that I was dissatisfied with the services provided, he was quick to tell me that he had spent 30 minutes with me and that I would be getting billed. That may have been his objective to waste my time and bill me for it.

Dr. Barakoti is an understanding doctor he hears everything you tell him and he get on top of it I truly appreciate him because he do what ever it takes to seek the help you need I never stayed with a doctor this long because they never cared be he cares about his patients he gives you choices not decide for you I got so much greatness to say about him he help me to believe in good doctors are still out here as pcps thank you Dr. Barakoti you are an amazing man keep being the greatness you are you are a true healer of the heart

Was very pleased with the visit..Kind, attentive, and knowledgeable ..Was first visit (backup for our family Dr.) could not have been a better back up for us....Would highly recommend.

Every single year when we do our physicals we get billed way more than what they quote. This year we were told the lab work would be $183 and we got billed for $979. Every single year we have to call and question it and it gets corrected because they code something wrong. You need a medical billing degree to go here.
