Billing for services I didnt receive
Dr Patel had been my Primary Care physician for many years. I am writing this review now because of recent experience with overbilling from a routine annual physical where I waived EKG and other tests I didn't want or need. I was then charged for those services and his office billing manager (Laura M) wont correct it after I explained it to her on the phone and wrote doctor Patel a detailed letter explaining how much I actually owed and was willing to pay. It seems their office turned me over to a collection agency, where I remain steadfast in dispute of overcharging.

Dr. Patel has been my provider for over 20 years, after Dr. Oliver retired. He is caring and knowledgeable and doesn't unnecessarily refer to specialists or prescribe drugs. His attention to keeping healthcare costs down is admirable.

Dr. Patel has been my doctor for around 20 years now, and I love him as my primary doctor. He is very knowledgeable about everything, always takes the time to ask/answer questions and is thorough. He has seen me through many different issues like gout and shingles, and I have in fact recommended him to a number of people. I also looked for a doctor young enough to see me through my lifetime. Nothing but good things to say about he and his staff.

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Patel?
Dr. Patel refused to work with specialists. He refused to help piece together a complex diagnosis which crossed multiple fields, such as ENT and infectious disease. He refused to follow up on imaging despite the fact that the radiologist did not follow the ordering instructions for the imaging, omitting a body part to determine if there was a sinus infection with a CT. I would not recommend seeing Dr. Patel. He also shared my medical information with someone without my knowledge or consent.

Very caring and helpful doctor. Always listens to my concerns and answers all the question I have. Front desk could be better organized, and wish that exam room wait time is reduced. Been going to him for last 15 years.
