I was referred to Prateek for swelling in the joints of my hand and pain. I explained that the joints in my hand were slightly swollen and that my family doctor looked at them and was also concerned. I mentioned some stiffness in the hand and significant pain and muscle weakness throughout my body every morning. He said my bloodwork was fine, and he put pressure on points on my body to test for fibromyalgia. After this short exam, he told me I look healthy and my hand "looks normal to him". I was confused, so I asked him what he suggested next to find out what might be causing the pain, swelling, and fatigue. His reply was, "Well, everything looks fine to me." I was confused but reiterated that I could appreciate that the swelling was minimal, but the pain was not, and I would like to know what I should do next. His final reply was, "Well, I can order an MRI if that will make you feel better." Dismissive and unkind. I recommend avoiding him if you would like quality care.

Physician is decent, administration incompetent
Have had just under a dozen visits over 2 years. The rheumatologist listens to concerns and provided efficient care. Upon request of a non-steroidal injection to support keeping from surgery the office seemed unable or unwilling to complete the process and was told they do not do buy and bill and that the patient is basically responsible for all the work that goes into covering a needed injection. Spent over 2 months attempting to work with the office to have correct process followed only to receive push back, circular conversations and limited call backs. IF you can get in to see this physician, the care is sufficient however be prepared to do the majority of the administrative work.

Considerate and Thorough Provider
I am so very pleased that I ended up under the care of Dr. Chaudhary. His manner is professional and efficient, he is patient and thoughtful in his treatment. The office staff is friendly and helpful and it's been nice to have the opportunity to do the bloodwork right there in his office. I feel very well taken care of by this practice.
