Dr Devaraj has treated my Barrett's for two years now, and I would recommend no other. He is extremely professional, and experienced. He genuinely cares for his patients, and there are few as highly qualified as he is. If you have an opportunity to have him treat you, don't hesitate..

I had an endoscopy 6 weeks ago because I was diagnosed with Barretts Esophogus last year. I had a doctor I'm seeing recommend Dr Devaraj as highly specialized. The procedure went fine but I've called three times for someone to do me the courtesy of giving my results. I went back to my Dr who referred me and the PA said from what he reads it doesn't even sound like I have Barretts Esophogus. For all the money I'm out you would think someone could call and go over the results. They are impossible to reach. The nurses line tells me someone will call back in 24 hours. I left a message Wednesday morning and it's been over 48 hours but still no call back. I'll go back to the Gastro doctor I saw in 2021 who was kind enough to have me come into the office and go over the results, she also gave me plenty of time ot ask questions. Healthcare today seems like you are just a number and $$

I went to his office and saw his nurse practitioner (NP). I was quickly scheduled for an upper GI. On the day of my GI scope he ran 2 hours behind. After procedure he said his office would follow up, but no one did. I called and left messages, I could see my biopsy results in the portal. I finally got an email from the NP who didn’t mention anything the doctor had told me. I repeatedly asked for a phone call only to get emails, which were full of doctor lingo. This doctor needs to be involved with more than doing the procedures. He needs to be involved with informing the patients of their health concerns. I agreed with the above comments patient abandonment. I do not recommend this doctor.

Stay clear of this Doctor!!!!! He abandoned my care. Left me high and dry in pain. I was referred to him by an internal referral at MD Anderson and he told me to go find a different doctor. He finally did an MRI that showed a blocked pancreatic duct he did the ERCP I was in unbearable pain after the procedure him nor his staff returned my phone calls 3 days in a row such a nice man, laughing. Stay clear. Patient abandonment.
