My mom is diabetic and went into DKA. Watching a loved one go through something so violent is scary. Worst part is there is nothing you can do to help.She was transferred from ICU to a regular room. After 22hrs and making veiled threats we finally see this guy. He entered into the room, didn’t introducing himself, and appeared annoyed that he had been asked to do his job. He said she could be discharged and left. 20 min later he called on the hospital room phone to tell her that she could start to decrease one of her medications. Still, never told us his name and I let him know that would have been great to know when he was in the room..Not impressed with this guy. I would say doctor but he didn’t exactly do anything or heal. I just wish some doctors would treat their patients as if it were their own parent.

Horrible bedside manner. My mother was transferred from ICU to a floor and waited 22 hours to see a Doctor on the floor. He was rude, did not introduce himself and did not care about my mother’s illness.
