I do NOT recommend Dr. Bansal!!
There are things they will NOT let me say on here, but she was NOT fair to me and some days were so bad another person in the field yelled at her! All she did was said be quiet. Also she does cancel your appointment from time to time. Then you have to make a new one and wait?

She cares I think you missed it.
Admit it people we are part of the problem. We struggled through the opiate debacle and now have to deal with the fallout of bad actors! The Dr was right stretching and p.t. did help but she also addressed my breakthrough pain with opiates. I admit I grew tolerant to opiates and increased dosage seemed to be the answer. I believe we get used to taking these and fight to keep them. Yes they are needed I agree but check yourself and be honest, do you need that higher dose. If you think you do I suggest weening off and restart again. It's painful but effective. The Doc knew what she was doing even if you didn't think so. She is a fine caring person and to suggest or say she isn't is offensive. She tough, caring and even if you think she wasn't listening in my experience I was proved wrong! I absolutely will miss her!! Thank you Dr. Bansil enjoy your well deserved retirement!!

I love Dr. Bansal
Dr. Bansal got me as a patient after another doctor had gotten me up to super high doses of potent pain meds. Dr. Bansal’s stretching routine helped so much when going down. I ended uo getting down to a lower grade pain med but a lower dose too. She also got me into the best Physicsl therapy office I could have for my issues. She really gave me the confidence to come off of the heavy duty pain meds and down to a lower level med. I couldn’t have done it with out her support! Stretching is key. I have also gone down on my benzos and muscle relaxers because of her. I’m so happy she was my doctor until she retired. She helped me be a success story! Not another statistic.

Great doctor - did not like at all at first
Dr. Bansal gave me stretches to do. I had been on pain killers for 15 years. After listening to Dr. Bansal and doing stretches I was weaned off the pain killers I was addicted to and feel much better. Stretches helped my pain immensely. Thank you Dr. Bansal and her wonderful staff.

Horrible human and terrible doctor. Uneducated, uncaring, demeaning, mean. Only cares about pushing injections and stretching even at the patient’s expense. Does not care if either helps. Never cared about my condition. Actually said that the structure of my spine didn’t matter, that it is only tight muscles. Ridiculous!!! If my spine was fine the muscles wouldn’t hurt!

Unacceptable first appointment experience!
I brought my senior grandmother to her first appointment with Dr. Bansal. The office staff was really nice and check in was quick. The intake nurse was very nice and patient. She answered a lot of my grandmother’s questions. The appointment went downhill from there. We waited an HOUR before Dr. Bansal came in. I had to inquire a couple times and ask for a sheet for my grandmother, who was freezing in the patient room. When Dr. Bansal finally arrived, she spoke very firm and fast and asked in an accusatory tone why my grandmother didn’t get a specific vaccination (which was her primary doctor’s fault for not mentioning it to her by the way). Then the doctor had her try to do some pointless stretches, forgetting the fact that she has rheumatoid arthritis. My grandmother left confused, cold, and unsure. If this is how you treat first time patients, we will not be back. Dr. Bansal needs a review and extensive training on health literacy and cultural competency before treating patients.

I would recommend Dr. Bansal to family and friends. She gave me stretches for back, neck and shoulders. I felt better after 3 spine surgeries and shoulder surgery. She recommended physical therapy that definitely helps. Doing stretches and moving and not letting myself get stiff definitely helps alleviate pain.

Dr. Bansal is always thorough, paying close attention to detail, professional and helpful. She is usually training another MD as they accompany her to each visit. She is always investigating in the next generation of pain management professionals, a field that is frought with difficulties due to opioid crisis. It takes a strong and daring soul to wade into the muddy weeds of this swamp of medicine. She no doubt is on the lookout for scammers and those who would exploit nebulous pain for opioids. Other fields don’t have to deal with this to the extent pain management Drs. do especially since so many Primary Care Drs. have simply abdicated all long term pain management to specialists like her.

I'm sorry to say that this doctor is a very inconsiderate, distant, uncompassionate, and even rude human, let alone doctor. First impression of the office was cold. Waiting room chairs are low and hard. Inconsiderate at the very least. The nurse was kind and professional. But then came the doctor. Wow! I've known doctors with no bed side manner but this woman was beyond anything! She rattled off her routine questions. NEVER looked up from the paper, let alone made eye contact or any connection with me at all. She didn't listen - or care what my answers were; just went on to the next question, completing her own sentences without my help. She then gave me 2 pages of exercises she knew I could not complete; telling me just do what I can. Her staff member explained she gives everyone the same exercises the first visit. My conclusion of Dr. Bansal is that she is calloused and makes enough on the initial visit that she doesn't care if patients don't return. Pathetic excuse of a doctor!

Dr. Bansal and her residents are wonderful! Dr. Bansal is straight forward and does not sugar-coat her words. As a patient with chronic pain from an injury five years ago, I was looking for a solution, not a medical bandaid! Dr. Bansal and her resident fixed me up in one visit and provided me stretches and mild exercises to HEAL the injury, not mask the symptoms with medications. Thank you Dr. Bansal! After five years of chronic pain, depression, and many sleepless nights, I am getting back on track! Without Dr. Bansal, I do not know what I would have done!
