Disregard of ongoing issues
Dr. Patel’s examination was limited to checking my dorsalis pedis (DP) pulse. The blood work ordered included a basic metabolic panel, protime, PTT, and a CBC with platelet auto diff. Earlier that day, my primary care doctor had informed me that my platelet levels were low and my CK levels were elevated. Two days prior to my ER visit, my doctor had advised me to go to the ER if my symptoms persisted. Despite this, Dr. Patel displayed a total disregard for my symptoms and concerns, conducting only a cursory exam and failing to address my ongoing health issues. He suggested I return to the ER the following day for an ultrasound to check for deep vein thrombosis (DVT). When I informed him that my doctor had scheduled the earliest available appointment in March, he recommended I pay for a second ER visit, which I was not willing to do. My discharge paperwork had Myalgias. My primary concerns were cramping in my legs, dizziness, and color changes in both my feet—not sore muscles.

Very Unprofessional
My 19yr old daughter went to ER 5 days ago due to severe body pain & a blistering rash on glutes - she said before I got there 'Dr Patel did exam with 3 female nurses present; he asked me to lower my shorts to see the rash so I lowered them enough to see all of the rash but he kept saying to lower them more. I told him the rash didn’t go any lower but he kept saying to lower them more; I was really uncomfortable. A female nurse told him she could see all of the rash without my pants being lowered more. Dr Patel said I have shingles so I asked what that meant and he said it was herpes. That really scared me and I was already nervous with him. He condescendingly said to calm down and said I needed a spinal tap and something else as he was leaving the room. I had questions but he kept walking and didn’t answer. The nurses were nice enough to explain it to so I wasn’t as afraid'. She was admitted for several days

Heartless
ER visit because clinic doctor said go to ER for CT scan - Patel showed no concern but to repeagedly ask if I was pregnant. He gave an antibiotic & charged $823 for maybe 10 minutes of disregarding anything I had to say
