Dr. Prema is very dishonest and unprofessional. I when it for an annual check up. She didn’t want to release my results to me. Told me that needed hormonal replacement and sold me a natural option. I paid over $350 for it. Didn’t get any explanation of what it was. After the fact I realized it was an implant in my glute. No writer instructions were given to care for the incision after.Now my hormones are all over the place. It turns out I didn’t need any hormonal replacement. On top of everything else, she never call me to tell me that my labs were abnormal after the hormone implant.Then she pushes you to buy supplements to make sure the implant works. The supplements are 50 plus.This lady should have her license taken away.

I will never come back to this office again. I've had recurring UTIs for THREE YEARS, and was so hopeful to finally see a urologist and get to the bottom of this. When she came in, she straight up told me I'm too young and healthy for this to be an issue for me without running any tests and then prescribed me a low dose of antibiotics that I explained several other doctors have already prescribed me (she didn't listen to a single thing I said though, so this doesn't surprise me). After giving me the roughest and fastest pap smear I've ever had and not offering to run other tests, I thought maybe I made a mistake and went to a gyno. So she left and I asked the assistant, 'This is a urology appointment, right?' And she said 'Yes, she is a urologist'. It wasn't until I was crying out of frustration that she threw a prescription at me for intercistial cystitis, but I won't be taking the medication because it has horrible side effects and I don't feel confident in her ability to diagnose.

Dr. Prema did not listen to me as a patient, interrupted me, dismissed my concerns, and then would not share my lab results when I requested them in writing. She would only share my results if I made an appointment with her to view them. This is not only antiquated. It's not legal to withhold my own medical information from me when I request it. To add to this, I waited over an hour past my appointment time. I do not recommend this practice.

Dr. Prema performed a sling surgery for incontinence and a prolapsed bladder on me in June of 2022. I am very happy with the results. I was hesitant to go through with this procedure at first, as it seemed very daunting to me. I highly encourage women who are thinking about having this procedure done to go for it. It really has changed my life. I no longer have to deal with the issues I struggled with before. The recovery time was approximately four weeks and I experienced very little pain. In addition to the sling surgery, I have been receiving hormone replacement therapy, Biote, from Dr. Prema for one year. This treatment has led me to feel more energetic and balanced, I no longer experience hot flashes, and my skin and mind are clearer overall. I am very happy with the results of my treatment.

I was bleeding from her pap she gave me and the medication she gave me gave me severe cramps I almost went to the hospital.Her staff would not let her know She will not listen to you because she's thinking about how she can make money off you!

Horrible doctor. She's lazy and doesn't want to do her job correctly. Having chronic pelvic pain is bad enough already as it is and having to deal with uncaring doctors like her makes it worse. Horrible horrible place.

I was recommended to Dr. Preema for urinary incontinence and a swollen urethra. She was rude to me and told me that those issues were "not medical issues." She was so awful to me personally that she caused me to cry, and I am not an overly emotional person. Her office staff could not set up appointments properly. I got a call from the office manager 17 days after I asked them to forward my medical records to me so I could see another doctor. They left me a voice mail saying that they would charge me $25 just to send a report that is less than 10 pages long. Oh, and if you're pregnant or hoping to become pregnant, forget it. She "no longer delivers babies." She is supposed to be a urinary specialist, but is only interested in patients who will pay an arm and a leg for surgeries that are not covered by insurance companies. She tried to sell me this service too. Not to mention the fact that she made me wait for over an hour for my scheduled appointment.

Great service and terrific office staff

I really like Dr Prema. I feel comfortable asking her any question. She thorough and very caring. The only thing i didn't care for was my original Appt. was for 8:30 and was asked if I could move it to 9 then i waited for 1 hour from waiting room to seeing her. I think there were two other patients before me so they had to wait even longer than I did.

The worest experience of my life. My concern was different they have performed some other test and have given a huge bill, the support team I see to horrible they have literally shouted on me while I was in call.

I went in with severe PMS and an itchy, crusty spot on my skin. After Interrupting me constantly as I described symptoms, She refered me to a special pharmacy that took a *ton* of my time and money. It turned out all I needed to do was cut soy out of my diet. Soy acts as estrogen in the body. And that itchy spot? She never tested it. She took one look and said she was SURE it was folliculitis. She was wrong. It was an STI.

It took me a while to find the right doctor and I'm so happy I found her Dr.Prema Kothandaraman, MD is really professional and respectful. She listens to you and listens to what u need and does everything she can to do things right

Dr. Prema made my birthing experience a terrible one. She is a bully who, in my opinion, would like all births to be C-sections. Please do not make her your doctor if you want a natural birth. Oh, she's fine for routine tests--pleasant, even. But when you disagree with her she turns on you like a pit bull. Her insensitivity, at the time when I felt the most vulnerable, contributed greatly to my post-partum depression.
