Dr. Prineet Tung, MD

Informed her of pain I had in two areas which she examined briefly. I asked about a scan and she said my insurance would probably not pay for it. She suggested an x-ray, I asked what that would show. She would not listen to my concerns and became confrontational. She said “I am the professional, if you don’t like what I am saying you should leave”. She stepped out and returned with referrals and left. She was VERY RUDE and unprofessional. A doctor should make you feel relieved and not hopeless after a visit. I felt like just another transaction instead of a patient. Not recommended. Avoid at all costs.

I was referred to Thunderbird Intl Med. by many individuals on the staffs of other doctors (specialists) I see and I agreed to see whichever provider was assigned to me. I saw a Nurse Practitioner first and was asked to wait a bit longer (back in the waiting room) to see Dr. Tung; so far so good. Dr Tung came in and peppered me with questions about my medications some prescribed by my old primary care doc and others by various specialists I see). She told me how bad each and every one of my medications were - as if I prescribed them for myself. I felt attacked and confused. She then curtly said she would have to order blood work before doing anything else and stomped out of the room. I haven't been back since. I've heard that the practice's name has changed and Dr Tung has left the group; I'd like to try again, but I'm spooked. So I guess not.

Dr. Tung is very thorough and kind. I have never had any problems with my visits and enjoy talking to her.

I have been seeing Dr. Tung for a couple of years now and have had no problems. Prescriptions are called in for me quickly. She has not hesitated to refer me to specialists. She does not make you wait forever to see her, which I appreciate.

Dr. Tung is throrough as well as personable. We were referred to her after my doctor retired. I was reluctant because of these reviews; and subsequently Ian so happy being her patient and I am getting excellent care. I am an RN and my husband is an MD, so we know what great care looks like. I highly recommend Dr. Tung.

i had been checked out and was taking a medicine by my previous doctor before I moved out here to Arizona last year. It was working great for me & I had been taking it for 2 years. When I ran out & tried to get it from her she wouldn't give it to me. She was too lazy to talk to me directly, it was always via phone messages which always took several days & it didn't matter that my previous doctor had prescribed it to me. She just referred me to a specialist that had nothing to do with it.

She does not hear what you say resulting in additional visits and costing you more money. Her office manager would not waive the fee because I did not call and complain right away. I don't know doctor office politics. I did not know that I had that option to call and complain, or I would have. I will not go back and would not recommend her to anybody. She just does not listen and take enough time.

She is worthless. I'm having issues with my lunge filling up with fluid. She ordered blood work for basic labs and told me to come back in a month. She was rude and didn't help me at all. But of course my insurance company and I got a large bill
