It is deeply disturbing that as an Internist with knowledge of her patient's family history of progressive cognitive challenges including Alzheimer's related dementia and depression, Dr. Kumar is unable to A) recognize potential issues emerging in a patient she has seen for years B) get a PHONE CALL back to this patient when they request a further evaluation/ referral to see a specialist due to family concerns related to the patient's memory and safety. On hold for 20 minutes, listening to an IU Health recording extolling the virtues of the organization "improving healthcare for their patient's and families of patients and changing healthcare as we know it" just adds insult to injury. Dr. Kumar's elderly patient forgot how to turn off car in a closed garage last week - occasionally drives on the wrong side of the road -has a violent spouse, at times cannot recall how to get home, etc. Now I am documenting everything with specifics and will be sending certified mail to Dr. Kumar.

I have been Dr. Kumar's patient for over 13 years and have found her to be nothing but kind and a very competent physician. I have multiple health conditions and she has managed my care well. She is a good diagnostician, but knows when it's time to see a specialist, and has referred me to some excellent physicians who have been great additions to my healthcare team. I would not hesitate to refer someone to her, and have recommended her to friends, coworkers, and my own daughter.

The worst person let alone Dr. I've. had the misfortune of meeting.I was a new patient, she could not care less about her patients. She did an ask me any important questions, about my current well being, she was probably more focused on her vacation plans, than my treatment. Only told me what she would not or could not do for me. Said on my records(slander) that I mistreated her staff. They were only politely asked to fax my information as needed. If anyone was mistreated it was I.Do not go there.

As far as she's concerned, and her staff, they are blind. Extremely neglegent; ignoring what was right in front of her face.Brought records in from out of state 20 years worth of information regarding my medications conditions and necessities. All she cares about is her license...not about my well-being. The entire staff's attitude made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Dr. Kumar referred me To doctors who cannot help me find Quality Care I desperately need. This doctor is not present.
