Horrible Psychiatrist
This doctor completely misdiagnosed my daughter. My daughter was admitted to the psych unit for depression, suicidal ideation, cutting, poor grades. Dr Punnoose decided that it was just ADHD. Dr. Punnoose made me feel like an awful parent and made ridiculous statements like, 'You've never said anything nice to your daughter ever.' She only listened to my daughter and decided it was all my fault. She discharged my daughter without any follow up care. We had no therapist, PHP, meds, or anything. My daughter was back in the hospital (a different one) within one week. This doctor decided it was all the mom's fault and ignored the severe mental illness my daughter had. The next hospital diagnosed her correctly, put her on meds, and she is doing much better.
