Did not listen to family about what was going on with patient. would not listen to me a RN of over 20yrs of experience and most important the mother of the patient. Called an ambulance unnecessarily for what she insisted was anaphylaxis. This was clearly not the problem. my child had no symptoms of anaphylaxis, only a increase of secretions from allergies. So after we got to the ER he was released in less than 2 hours. All she had to do was listen. I have a Trauma and ICU nurse background.
