Dr. Priyanka Jalandhara, MD

The doctor scowled at me upon entering the room ignoring my greeting. She told me a well known potential complication of RA didn’t exist even though it’s documented in numerous professional journals. She made a couple of guesses of what could be a diagnosis immediately followed by a disinterested “but I could be wrong.” They made NO sense. Then my jaw dropped when she looked at me and asked “What do you want me to do?” I have been a nurse 30 years in the hospital setting and rarely had such a negative experience with a physician. It was a waste of time and money. I question the positive reviews because the bedside manner and professional knowledge in my opinion are seriously lacking.

Very little communication, the doctor seemed uninterested and only checked my fingers on my first of five visits. The doctor only orders tests and prescribes medications but there is no interaction with the patient. She should not be practicing, and at least take some English courses.

I went to see Dr. Jalandhara for my severe neck and shoulder pain, I explained her that I am having sleepless nights because of pain, she took 2 minutes and told me to get some X-ray's done, I went right away and got my X-ray done, X-ray tech told me that she is sending report to doctor today and my doctor will contract me, no one called me all week and finally I called to hear that Dr. is still reviewing X-ray's, I am surprised to hear that it took all week to read Radiologist report, I am still in pain with stiff neck waiting for her to read Radiologist report.

In one word Dr. Priyanka B. Jalandhara is an "Excellent" doctor. I visited Dr. Priyanka for my Rheumatology issue mainly for Psoriasis-Arthritis, Vasculitis and joint pains. Dr. Priyanka is an extremely thorough and very caring doctor. I consider myself very blessed and fortunate to be a new patient in her office. She is extremely knowledgeable and considers all possibilities when deciding the best course of action for your individual health situation. A great doctor, Super smart and knowledgeable. Very pleasant to deal with. She is humble and kind and I really appreciate a doctor who listens and takes time for her patients.
