Dr. Purwa Joshi, MD

Dr. Joshi was very thorough in going over my medical history, medications, etc. Her recommended changes in my medications have helped improve my overall health situation. My concerns were addressed by Dr Joshi, and she answered all of my questions and gave explanations that were easy to understand.

She did a wonderful job with me and was very caring. She definitely did a complete physical and didn’t miss a step. I have had physicians that don’t completely look you over and just hey how things going and if you are doing good they send you on your way. She definitely took the time to check everything even if things were feeling good on my end. For me she is what I look for in a physician. Only thing is had to make sure is she knew my background a little more before putting me on a vitamin that I may not need. Once she explained it made since and she was very understanding and didn’t push the issue. She left it up to me.

Did not spend time with me and rushed through everything. Performed a really poor physical exam.

She doesn't care about her patients, she tries to get over with the visit as soon as possible. Don't waste your time and money, not recommended,

I had to wait 45 to 50 minutes to see her. When she finally came into my room she was in a big hurry & didn't read her chart to see what she had me come in for! She scheduled me for a full work up & a Pap smear , as I was a new patient. She was not going to do either until I mentioned that's why I was there. She asked me to Come Back another time, as she was behind!? I had run out of my thyroid medication that I take , as I no longer have a thyroid any more. She made me go 5 days without any !
