Thorough and attentive
We've seen Dr Gates twice. And both time we have been impressed with her care. She exercises the right amount of concern without being over reactive or alarming. . She explained all of our test results throughly, answering all our questions. I like her 'if I'm not worried, you shouldn't be worried,' attitude. Her staff is helpful and friendly. She ordered whatever tests she felt necessary. And, recommended courses of action to issues she felt required fellow up. Her attitude is simple. She will recommend and advise. We're adults who ultimately make our own decisions.

Administration is Horrid
The administration of this practice is dismal at best. I waited FOUR months for an appointment as a new patient only to be told she was out of the office and now I would have to wait four more months to try again. Unreal!!! If this is indicative of the care provided this is a huge RED Flag! I was told they left me a voicemail a week ago but I show no messages.

I was looking for a patient advocate
This was not the right doctor for me. As so many reviews mentioned, she is abrupt and curt. Two out of three visits, I felt she was insulting. She provided no input beyond sending me off to specialists and was a great disappointment. Look elsewhere to find someone who cares about your health.

Dr. Gates listens to my concerns and is very proactive with her referrals and getting to the bottom of the causes of symptoms. Her appointments do fill up but I find that if I schedule my future visits at the time of my current appointment, it works out.

My 1st visit went well with Dr. Gates. On my 3rd visit, I felt rushed, and I noticed the 'I don't care attitude' facial expression while being cut off in mid-sentence. Dr. Gates didn't take the time to listen to information that was important to me. This last impression was a taste of future visits. I will be ending my services with Dr. Gates.

Poor service
Telehealth
She talks a good game and sounds like a great doctor. Very informative and communicative to what she wants u to know and believes only. However. She could care less to really hear any true concerns or address any real issues or assist in real healthcare needs/beliefs you do it her way or you don’t do it, if it doesn’t benefit her she doesn’t help. She as well as The whole office won’t let you see any other doctors in that same office regardless if u are sick or not and need to be seen, if they are too busy or too booked they would rather have you wait or stop taking the medication or go to an urgent care or ER other than allow you to see any other doctor in the office and actually help you. It’s a sad day.

after going to the er with burns, they told me to follow up with my regular dr but she wouldn't see me for weeks. i had to see a dermatoligist who referred me to the burn center and filled prescriptions for ointment and bandages i had to do twice a day for weeks. having recurrent abdominal pain, she would not see me sooner than 3 months, nor refer me for tests in the meantime. she told me to go to the er if i want to be seen sooner. i have spent hours calling drs my insurance says are taking new patients but they're not.

Rachel Gates
Dr Gates is filling in for my doctor who is on medical leave. She has never met me. The day before my appointment her staff called me to tell me everything that she would NOT do for me. The woman does not know me how can she make this decision before she has met me? I am a respectable adult who plays by the rules. She fought with me the entire visit. We both decided not to have future visits. I am 72 years old and have never been treated with such disrespect. Stay away from this person.
