Dr. Buscko said she reviewed my chart, but then asked me how many chemo treatments I had left. I have metastatic disease. Like many in my condition, I am on treatment indefinitely (until my cancer progresses). The premise of her question seemed uninformed and unfortunately reminded me of the poor position I'm in living with this treatment potentially as long as I live, and required me to educate her on a fundamental (and very common) aspect of my treatment. It didn't inspire confidence but did bring to the front of my mind the depressing nature of my situation, which persists now a week later.

I really felt like Dr Busko listened to me and cared about my concerns and questions. I was nervous to have to find a new provider bc my prior one left Essentia. I'm very happy I found Dr Busko.

Very kind and knowledgeable. I have a lot of anxiety about going to the doctor, but she always makes me feel better and well taken care of. Puts me at ease, is thorough with explanations, and is patient with my questions. Always makes me feel like she has all the time in the world for me.
