Don’t waste your time! Worst doctor!
Please don’t waste your time with this doctor! I was looking forward for almost 1 1/2 months to have this appointment since I have been having various issues. My neurologist actually informed me that I needed to see an endocrinologist. He referred me over to this office, but to Dr. Breidbart NOT Dr. Fetner! I unfortunately had to reschedule my appointment with Dr. Breidbart due to a flight cancellation so I was forced to see Dr. Fetner since she has availability. When I arrived, there was no one in the waiting room and I was called to go into a room. I was amazed that I didn’t have to wait long until I actually went into a room. The assistant spoke to me for a few minutes, took my vitals and die bloodwork. The assistant was extremely friendly. I waited in this room for almost an hour until the assistant came to get me and move me into another room. When I went into the other room , I waited another 10 minutes for Dr. Fetner to come in just to have literally a 5 MINUTE conversation!!

I have had an excellent experience with Dr. Fetner. I can't understand the negative comments, she has been quite the opposite with me. BTW, the negative comments are so similar to make me suspect they are from the same person.

This doctor is absolutely useless. She did not listen to anything I was saying and couldn't care less about how I was feeling. She repeatedly ordered blood tests and they came back normal so she made no further effort to address the issues I was struggling with. I have never had this experience with other doctors and wish that I had read these reviews before I went and wasted my time and money.

Rude and scary. Previous doctor had prescribed a generic prescription. She yelled at me for “trying to save a dollar.” Will NEVER go back.

I wish I could give zero stars...Dr. Fetner is the most unprofessional, nasty, disrespectful doctor I have ever encountered. She does not listen to anything you have to say nor does she care anything about her patients. She has no bedside manner. She orders unnecessary tests and prescribes whatever she wishes disregarding any of her patients thoughts. Complete disgrace for a physician and an embarrassment.

Dr. Fetner is a fantastic endocrinologist. I strongly recommend her. She runs on schedule and has very early morning appointments. She is diligent in her follow up and willing to spend the time to answer your questions. I’d give her six stars if I could.

Terrible service! I made an appt 7:30 am prior to work and when I showed up the receptionist told me it was cancelled and they would not see me. I explained I didn’t cancel it and it’s there error and should accommodate. Dr fetner overheard and was very nasty stating she would see me ina few hours bc it’s not her fault. No apologies for the incompetence of her staff. It is the error of there office and would not accommodate. I would rate no stars if I had the option.

Lacks any form of 'bed side manner'. Does tests, but does not seem to care or listen one bit to how you're actually feeling because 'levels' are in a normal range. Spent too long with this practice. Looking for an endo that pays attention.

You wouldn't recommend this doctor to anyone. I agree with previous comments. I should have seen them first before I went there. She doesn't listen to what you want to say. I didn't have a chance to explain my symptoms. She was done and left the room. Never had this experience with my other doctors. It was my first and last visit with this doctor. Awful experience! Waste of my time and money!

Go somewhere else. Before one of my appointments I overheard her talking about a different patient, complaining about them. Everyone in the waiting room could hear. She avoided all my questions. After flat-out asking her if I have PCOS she just groaned and said well you have the symptoms.....I asked her again what was going on with my health she didn't reply. I asked her if I should be on a special diet to help with my illness. She handed me a flyer about diabetes and walked off.

She was assigned to me at St. Francis Hospital. The first time I met her she came into my room at the hospital and she rudely introduced herself. She was judgmental. I can not see how anyone would see her a second time. When I asked her to leave my room she ignored my request and started listening to my heart. I again told her I was in a lot of pain and just got back to my room from a 34 hours test. Her reply was I do not care about your pain I am not hear for that. She is extremely rude.

Poor bedside manner in East meadow,ny – Aug 19, 2016
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Fetner?
There are not enough characters for me to put here how terrible this doctor is. I came to her for terrible hormonal issues, she made them worse, almost making me diabetic and putting my 28y old self into menopause. That was the least of what this monster did though. For a YEAR I begged her to check out a lump I had on my neck and I brought to her attention 20lbs weight loss, EXTREME loss of energy and all she said was sometimes people are hypochondriacs. Turns out it was CANCER.
