Excellent
My original obstetrician was out of town on my scheduled induction date so I was assigned to Dr. Guild. I met her that day for the first time. Dr. Guild is everything I want a doctor to be-intelligent, kind, and compassionate. My son's birth turned into an unplanned cesarean, but Dr. Guild was supportive every step of the way. My scar healed wonderfully and I barely see a scar 1 year later. She even referred me to see a wonderful Pelvic Health PT. They're aren't many doctors like Dr. Guild.

Considerate and helpful
I saw Dr. Guild towards the end of my pregnancy because my normal OB was out and I immediately switched to seeing her the rest of my appointments. She was thorough and paid attention to details my previous OB had not, and when it came time to deliver she was the doctor there as well. She guided me through my daughter’s delivery and explained everything really well. Highly recommend!

She was the only Dr. in the Dalles I wanted to deliver my baby. She did an amazing job making me and my husband comfortable with every problem or concern that occurred during my pregnancy. I am looking forward to her being my Dr. in my future pregnancies.

I would not recommend Dr. Guild to anyone. She did my C-section over eight months ago and I am still in pain every day. I have chronic pain from surgical adhesions. My skin is completely stuck to my abdominal muscles with scar tissue. The incision sites (internal and skin) still ache and I have a disfiguring scar. I also have severe pain and cramping during menstruation and very abnormal flow. They think it is because my uterus is being pulled into a strange position by adhesions.
