Dr. Radhika Kotha, MD

I was shocked to see your rating of Dr Kotha! She is the PCP for both my husband and I. We both find her to be thorough and always concerned with what is best for the patient. We have so much respect for her as our physician that we drive from Murrysville to the Forest Hills office rather than change physicians.

Dr. Kotha is really helpful and makes time to see her patients and listen to their concerns. Even when her office staff does not pick up calls, she sees my missed call and makes sure to contact me to see what's up. She's very friendly, kind, and helpful.

The unprofessionalism coming from this doctor and her staff is unmatched! Do your self a favor and stay clear!

My prescription lapsed and I went without refills, causing withdrawal symptoms while I tried for weeks to contact the office. Phone trees, hangups, no callback. I went in to ask what was happening and they told me they received none of my calls, emails, or pharmacy requests. I made a virtual visit with a different doctor's office to reestablish my prescription. Don't trust the admin here to manage your prescriptions.

My records were requested well in advance and office couldn't find them, once they did, doctor ignored them. She wouldn't believe why I was on medications before making me take blood tests though the specialists that prescribed it made it obvious I was giving accurate story. The doctor herself claimed she didn't know when I had my services done on, and when looked gave wrong date. Then they incorrectly billed my service and after speaking with me and insurance refused to correct it so I had to appeal through the insurance. They also argued I needed special permission to get my Depo shot when it was due and were trying to schedule me to get it after it was due, and when I hung up to call insurance about changing doctors, the office manager called me to apologize that they messed up. Too many errors and no positives really.

My test results for BREAST CANCER were given to me by a NURSE, not a physician! Dr. Kotha NEVER even returned my numerous telephone calls. I finally gave up and called my insurance company for assistance and a rerrral for a surgeon. I would NOT recommend this Doctor to anyone. Treating a patient in this way, with a devastating diagnosis is unconscionable and egregious. I will be reporting this Doctor to the Medical Board.

Saw her several years ago. She diagnosed my problem correctly even while I was sure it was something else. She started me on medication that I had needed for a while but no one else had given me. I am truly grateful to her, even though I no longer go there due to travel time. She was always helpful and kind, and patient, because I'm not the best patient! Thank you Dr. Kotha.

Seemed rushed at office visit. Made medication errors-not once, but several times. Said there are so many prescriptions in my record, it's hard to check. Ordered incorrect lab work. Unfortunate for me because I had to pay for her mistakes. I got all sorts of blood tests and not the one I went to her for. Does not seem familiar with my medical records when she sees me. Does not update records in computer. She will answer emails promptly, but does not always give correct information.

She is kind and sweet however the response time by the office is ridiculous. Even with the follow my health application requests for prescription refills go un-address. When you are on maintenance medications and the pharmacy or myself calls for a refill I should be told within a reasonable amount of time if I am to be seen before refills will be done. The staff has NO sense of urgency when it comes to maintenance patients.
