Several years ago, I saw Dr. Hansen for debilitating symptoms that were destroying my quality of life. He refused to believe that I was telling the truth, refused to believe the results of the psychological testing he referred me to, and refused to believe the counselor he sent me to. As a result, proper care was hindered for years and a young woman in an extremely vulnerable circumstance was further demoralized. I have survived, and am grateful for other staff in that department, but would never recommend Dr. Hanson for anyone, particularly a young woman, who is dealing with complex symptoms with causes that aren't easily discerned.
