Compassionate, Competent Care
Dr. Tarazi and his staff went above and beyond to help us with an urgent situation that came up the night before Thanksgiving, when we landed in the ER with instructions to follow up ASAP with a specialist. We could not find anyone open Friday after the holiday, and resorted to leaving a message, expecting to struggle through the weekend and hear back on Monday. How pleasantly surprised we were to get a call back from Dr. Tarazi's staff same day! I wish I had written down her name - she was incredibly helpful and efficient. As it turns out, the offices were closed but he was there working on charts, and offered that we come in. I was astounded, we weren't even established patients with the practice and he was willing to take the time to see us last minute - we were told to come right in. The compassion and care he showed towards my nervous and uncomfortable young adult was beyond anything we have recently experienced. The situation was handled, he was thorough and knowledgeable

Best Experience I have ever had
My experience with Dr. Tarazi has been nothing less than exceptional. While most offices make you wait for months to see a physician, I was able to see him on the same day I called. I I had a very painful condition when I went in and fifteen minutes later I was pain free!! Scheduling was easy and he exudes confidence which was very comforting. The office was clean and setting comfortable. Thank you Dr. Tarazi.

What a relief!!!
After having nightmare hemroid surgery 15 years ago and an agonizing recovery I dreaded having to seek out another colorectal surgeon last month. A friend referred me to Dr. Tarazi. He told me about a virtually painless way to remove my hemroids called banding. I never knew! I had the first one removed that way 3 weeks ago. The whole procedure took about 2 minutes. No problems! I had a "full" feeling down there for a day, and then felt normal after that. About 10 days later that problem was gone! I went back today and did another. I had no discomfort at all. He knows what he's doing, explains everything clearly and has a very nice "bedside manner". All I can say is, What Are You Waiting For? Go now before your problem becomes an emergency.

Dr. Tarazi cancelled my husbands necessary surgery 24 hours prior to the procedure. He cancelled because he did not want to file a claim with Blue Cross and Blue Shield. In the office visit he wanted hi fee in advance, which was paid assuming he would submit a claim. He even ran the the credit card charge himself. We can only assume his avoidance to file the claim was due to the fact that the contracted payment with Blue Cross and Blue Shield was less than the credit card charge. We find this highly unethical considering my husbands tumor was malignant and required immediate attention. We can safely say that the hippocratic oath the dr. took carries no weight in his services to the patient. His only concern is $$$ not your well being. BEWARE WHEN DEALING WITH UNETHICAL DOCTORS SUCH AS THIS ONE!!!!!

I scheduled my colonoscopy and endoscopy. The day of my procedure Dr. Tarazi did not acknowledge my presence when prepping for the procedure before undergoing anesthesia. 2 weeks later during the follow up Dr. Tarazi did not explain to me my results or recommend a diet or another Doctor to manage inflamation, he was short and did not spend any time with me explaining my findings and or make a recommendation to a specialist for diet and/or medication. He has no bedside manner, very short and clipped and spends only a few minutes with you prior and after. I do not recommend him as a colon-rectal doctor. He may be skilled and knowledgeable but I wasn't comfortable or happy with his personality or the follow up or report that I received. Also, in the follow up he mentioned that colonoscopy are 30% effective providing information. That was unsettling and made me very uncomfortable and concerned about him.

WARNING DO NOT be subjected to this medical practice and the potentially painful experience inflicted on me for the past 4 mo. I normally don’t do reviews but need to support others who have given negative reviews here. I’ll never take high levels of negative reviews lightly again in choosing any business or provider. This so-called practice is like a factory for administering band ligation procedure for hemorrhoids, will all payment due UP FRONT. The 3 procedures I had, each of which was more painful and debilitating than the one before, cost me $1000 in co-pays. Key takeaway – the Dr knew he was causing long-lasting pain and never bothered to pick up the phone and check on me. I cancelled my appt for the 4th procedure having zero improvement and still in near constant pain. When I requested some refunding of co-pays, the wife office mgr refused. When I told her I would take my voice to the web she attacked me. These people have no conscience and no care for patients IMO – beware.

I have seen Dr. Tarazi 3 times. He is very caring and trying to help me with my issues. I was scheduled for a colonoscopy so I called and spoke to his wife about insurance questions and needing to talk to the doctor to see if there was another procedure to help me with my health issues. She did not understand what I was asking except she thought I was complaining. She talked over me and she did not stop talking and threatened to cancel my colonoscopy. I tried to call her back but she would not answer the phone. I am happy with the doctor but she refused to listen to what I was saying and assumed I was complaining. After I hung up with her I realized what she was saying to me. I was very sad. Her customer service skills need improvement so I called the next morning and cancelled my Colonoscopy because his wife was so rude to me. I hope Dr. Terazi reads this review and not his wife intercepting it. I am not the only person that had the same treatment from Dr. Tarazi's wife.

The office clerk, Ellen I believe is her name, was very rude and unprofessional. She obviously has an I. With the dr, I understand she is his wife, because otherwise she would be unemployed. Simple insurance question, caused her to cancel the appointment, and not allow me to explain the situation. Have never in 60 years spoke with someone so obviously incompetent and unsuited for there position.

REALLY, really bad! I couldn't make this up. This doctor should work by himself as his wife/office person is a CREEP. I had to wait about 20 minutes before he even came into my examination room, and there were no other patients in the place. It would be noted that the wash room had no more than one third of a roll of toilet paper.......and this is before the pandemic. I feel that Dr Tarazi is probably a competent specialist, with a really bad way of running an office. So bad that I would not set foot in that place again. He and his office mgr/wife and literally extorted $198.00 (the deductible) before he or his 'lovely' wife would allow me past the front desk. If I had not been in pain, I would have left. My advice: Go to a different specialist!!

Very unprofessional!Speaking with front office was awful! I called a week before my husbands appointment and spoke with Ellen. I was trying to verify insurance information. Ellen very rudely told me their office is not contracted with my insurance. I explained to her I verified that we are contracted. Ellen then insisted that they are not! She refused to let me speak to billing or the office manager. She then told me I had junk insurance and shouldn’t have to wait 2 years for payment. However, we have fabulous insurance, my husband is a firefighter. Ellen then proceeded to tell me that she was cancelling my husbands appointment and hung up on me. I contacted my insurance who tried to call 3 times but Ellen would not answer the phone. What a shame we did not get to work with Dr. Tarazi, who came highly recommended by my Dr. So sad the Dr. Tarazi is unaware that Ellen is turning away patients. I would stay clear of this office until Dr. Tarazi replaces Ellen the front desk lady!

I had both external and internal hemorrhoids and some polyps. He took them all out, and within a short time, I was healed and was way better “down there”. I was prepared for a lot of post op pain, but it was minimal. I did take about 5 heavier pain meds Int he first 5 days (he warned that the 3rd day might be worse because the operation meds would have warn off). After that I just used ibuprofen. Within a week, I was on a cross country airplane flight. Within two weeks, I was done with any meaningful issues. And, 10 days before the hemorrhoid operation, Dr. Tarazi did a colonoscopy on me. It was so well done that I went out for a nice dinner with my wife that night. Dr. Tarazi knows what he is doing and his patients are the beneficiaries.

Dr. Tarazi was my colorectal surgeon for a sigmoidectomy and he did a wonderful job. His very calming and caring manner made me feel very comfortable before and after my surgery. Mine was a bit more complicated, and his judgement on treatment and the outcome were great. I have had no issues and I am back to my normal diet and activities. I am very happy that he is the surgeon I chose. I highly recommend Dr. Tarazi.

Dr. Tarazi recently performed colorectal surgery me, successfully removing a stage 1 colon tumor. On the morning of my surgery, he sat beside my bed comforting me, helping me relax as much as possible. He is a very caring and gentle doctor, and his daily visits during my hopital stay he always greeted me with friendly smile. Thanks to Dr. Tarazi, my surgery was a complete success. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of colon surgery. Thank you so much, Dr. Tarazi!
