I had an elective surgery (fundoplication takedown) with Dr. Andrade, who is quite personable, but now my stomach and other parts of my gastrointestinal system are permanently paralyzed (gastroparesis). My ribcage (xiphoid process) was also bent during surgery due to improper placement of surgical devices, which was very painful. I had expected a better outcome from the Chief of Thoracic Surgery at M Health, and didn't feel adequately informed of these risks.

Arrived an hour late for surgery consultation that was first office appointment of the day. Spent less than 1 minute reading a recent test report and indicated that not only was surgery not an option for the cancer treatment, no other treatment options existed and I should prepare for death. This doctor was not my oncologist and had no business commenting on potential treatment options outside of surgery.
