Excellent Dr. She has treated me on two occasions after my two major strokes. Wish she wouldn’t have moved from her 27th office to Chandler, as I starting to have major headaches again.

Horrible Doctor
My son was having seizures and lost the ability to walk, lost the use of his hands, and had difficulty speaking, and was taken by ambulance to the ER. There, we had the unfortunate luck of being attended to by Dr. Alsahlani. She didn’t listen to anything he or I was saying, continuously talked over us, and when my son told her he was a victim of an attack, she told him he had social issues. She spent approximately five minutes with us, decided since my son was young there was nothing wrong with him. My recommendation for Dr. Alsahlani is to find another career field. Beyond disappointing.

Stroke- Disappointing lack of urgency & compassion
My mother had a stroke arrived at the hospital ER within 30 minutes. . Once moved to neurology hours later, we didn't hear from Dr. Alshalani for over 24 hours nor did we receive the results of a MRI for over 24 hours. There are things that could have been done had their been a sense of urgency. She also didn't know much about my mom's condition. We had to tell her. Bedside manner was so disappointing, all we were told in front of my mother was negative, i.e., she will never walk again. Please be an advocate for the elderly,, because no one else will!!

I will follow this doctor to the ends of the earth! I have been a long time patient and she has been caring, knowledgeable and she has your back! Her staff is wonderful and friendly. Dr. A's patient time is no different than any other Dr's office.

Seems to very competent, but also seems to rush. Quick to talk, slower to listen. Not good for a patient who struggles with memory issues, slow brain function and needs time to think before responding.

My father in law was seen by her while he was in the hospital and she seemed like a good dr. We were told to make a follow up appointment within 3 weeks of his release. Having attempted 2 x now and having her office staff be completely uncooperative and rude. I will not allow any family member of mine to be in her care if this how her staff treats people. A doctors staff should be a reflection of them and should be as caring as the doctor them self.

She is thorough and takes her time to answer questions. This makes her run late in her appointment schedule but I’d rather have her running late and not rush with the patient

My son was in a car accident and was seen in the hospital by Dr. Alsahlani. We were told to make a follow up appointment with her for one week from her initial consultation. Called her office to make the follow up appointment and was told the first available wasn’t until at least a month and a half out. I explained to the clerk we were told to come back in a week but she didn’t care and got snippy with me. Extremely poor customer service. This needs to be remedied!

Our 78 year old relative with MCI transitioned to Dr. Alsahlani's practice in April 2018. She has shown drastic memory loss, lapses and confusion since 2016. After having to go to the emergency room twice in May 2018, she was enrolled in assisted living to provide her meds and make sure she ate and drank properly. In July, despite all of this, Dr Alsahlani cleared her to drive again. (She had previously willingly sold her car.) She has now reinstated her license and is back on AZ freeways.

I would not refer this Doctor to anyone. Stay away! As much as I would prefer not to say negative things, this neurologist needs a lot of work with customer service. Very untrustworthy. Be careful what she writes up in her chart.... well most of her write up is computer generated.

She stopped me as I was telling my spiel of symptoms.(which I had to go through with several other Dr.s) and said I needed a certain Medication. Also noticed my eye syndrome in the first five min. Ordered blood panels and mri'sshe was very observant and thorough. 2days later, I felt 90? better! She is a miracle worker and we've barely started my diagnosis. Love her and she is beautiful.

Needed pain med options.) 1St message I left....her response?.. she will not prescribe anymore pain meds/narcotics, but I can't/never asked for narcotics. She didn't leave an alternative so I left 2nd message of what dosage i take for over counter meds.. her response?..that I see a pain specialist which I am soon. But she wouldn't even tell me the dosage I can take so I won't get sick. I assume that's a liability, doctors vow to help patients not leave them hanging in pain until I see the doc'.

Saw this doctor Rafah Alsahlani weeks back and she suggested I go to Barrows but ordered some tests. Her Sloppy handwriting has made it impossible for me to get Va/insurance to get me to the Narrows and her office billed the wrong insurance company and was rude to me about it on phone. Last Friday I called and requested to see Dr. Alsahlani to get things straightened out so I can be sent to Barrows but I guess her office failed again :(
