Great Dr
Telehealth
Dr. Tachdjian is a caring, kind, and empathetic Dr. He takes his time listening and has a excellent bedside manner. His office staff has a sunny disposition over the phone and in person. My only complaint is not having him as my Doctor sooner.

Up front charge of $700 for shots
I have bad allergies and went to Dr Tachdjian to request shots . I had had them many years ago so I knew what I needed . I called my insurance to make sure I was covered and Dr Tachdijian was in network . Upon booking my appointment I was told that they requested $250 up front . A little unusual given I had met my deductible but i went with it . I met Dr Tachdjian for the initial consultation . Upon my next visit the receptionist handed me a form requesting $500 up front for allergy shots . She said the compound cost them $1600 to make . I explained that my insurance covered 90% the cost and that would be $160 and asked what the extra cost was . They said it was office policy . I called a couple of other allergists at UCLA and Cedars and both said that this was unheard of. It felt more like a car dealership move than a doctor . I canceled my appointment and saved myself $500 and hoping I get the $250 back. On another note , when I arrived for my second appointment DR Tachdjian I was n

Dr Tachdjian used to be really responsive and helpful. Not anymore. Even though they're a small office, his office staff is poor at communicating. He seems to be all about the money now and not his patients. Very disappointing.

Have seen Dr Raffi for very different reasons, hives and later a bronchitis that he accurately diagnosed as walking pneumonia. He's knowledgable, smart, observant and a great communicator. He very carefully explains how to interpret allergy test results and gives you big picture information as well as a treatment plan that gets results. He has my vote for a top doctor. I've sent others to him and all have been happy. His office staff are all nice, and the two assistants were impressive.

Where do I begin, first the receptionist ignores me when I arrive 10 minutes early to the appointment. Then a snotty internist whines "is my patient going to be late for their first appointment" ... little did I know this was going to be the in between person that would be translating to Dr Raffi who I guess was too important to hear directly from the patient what their symptoms are or for that matter, care at all. I was left in a waiting room so long the lights timed out. Horrible experience.

My 13 yo son had been experiencing a continuous headache for 5 months when I took him to see Dr Tachdjian. We'd been to see many top paediatric neurologists in LA and tried many medications and nothing had broken the headache. We went to Dr Tachdjian for allergy testing to see if a food might be the cause of the headache. Dr Tachdjian noticed my son's posture, checked his trigger points in his shoulders and treated him with trigger point injections. The headache disappeared and has not returned!
