Was recently admitted to Baptist East for treatment i need for fluid overload caused by a failing liver. Besides my usual liver dr, this was my first time meeting Dr. Ramaswamy as hospitalist. Ive always been pleased with 98% of hospitalists & by now, im a 'regular'! By the end of day one, i knew that i was in good hands (im an RN, which helps)his approach was a bit diff.It worked wonders & removed over 25lbs of extra fluid in 5days! He gets 5 stars from me! I felt he truely cared for me.

I found Dr. Ramaswamy to be very engaging. Knew exactly what the issue is and referred me for the proper treatment. I thought he had a good sense of humor which is a huge plus for me. Everyone in the office was kind and caring. Would definitely recommend.

Dr. Ramaswamy was very helpful and personable. He answered my questions and listened to my concerns. The wait in the office tends to be very long but in my opinion is worth it. His office was very helpful in getting my appointment made quickly and returning my sleep study results fast as well.

Dr. Ramaswamy is hands down the most arrogant, self-important doctor I have encountered. He kept me waiting for an hour and a half, and then couldn't be bothered to even look at my chart. He asked why I was there - I was there for the results of a sleep study he had ordered. Throughout the conversation, he was dismissive and smug. I will never go to him again.

Dr. Ramaswamy saved my grandfathers life. He was given a short time to live when I was 7 years old and lived until I was 19. He also treats myself and my mother and was able to diagnose me with Vocal Cord Dysfunction. Not many doctors can differentiate between asthma and VCD and not many doctors are educated on VCD like Dr. Ramaswamy. Highly recommend.

Would never recommend him.. He talks nasty and is rude. Won't answer your questions. Treated my family member terrible. . Terrible Doctor. Not friendly or caring.
