Rude and spiteful
Was my mom's primary care for a number of years. Unfortunately, my mom suffered from Alzheimer's and as her disease progressed, her care needs increased. For example, she unfortunately had a number of UTIs. My caring dad tried to make life easier for her given her limited mobility and shared his frustration with always needing to come into the office when another one popped up. Anyone who has cared for someone with advanced Alzheimer's know the difficulty of this. Long story short, the doctor hung up on my dad when he questioned her, having little sensitivity for the situation. After he switched her doctors, the 'kind and caring' Dr. Kantha refused to transfer her medical records which were required to admit her to a long term care facility that she then almost didn't get into. Clearly violating 30-90 day state and federal time limits on the transfer of medical documents. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Find someone who cares about patients over being paid for x number of visits
