The Greatest Pain Management Doctor on the Planet
I am the 1st Patient in CT to have implant surgery of the Stimwave PNS system to address CHRONIC NERVE PAIN in my left leg. I have been battling CRPS for 8 years, have an implanted St. Jude Spinal Cord Stimulator, plus a regimen of Nerve Meds that were not cutting the maddening pain that has left me disabled, ambulating on a cane is no fun. I have been working with Dr. Sekhar since Nov 2020, went through a beta test of another stim system that produced great results, but was not approved for permanent implant use. Since May 2021 we have been working to get me the implant surgery, that has the potential to give me my life back! I had implant surgery on 04/01, then Stimwave System was "fired up" on 04/11, the system is working as it should to dial down my pain, I know it is not an instant on cure, but it is well worth the trouble for me to be Patient Numero Uno! Thank you Dr. Sekhar and the world class team at Pain Mgmt in Westport!

I usually do not fill these in. Please listen Very poor office management. Doctor Shekker and my nurse were very nice. Did 6 injections and was supposed to get a call for my follow up for 2 weeks from injections. They never called back. I did and they lied to me, making up a story that had happened five months before. (My pain man. Doctor told me the truth on that lie) If I had treated clients in my profession like that I would have been fired. I called 15 min before they were supposed to close one day and they kept hanging up. And…I called again recently And they asked if I wanted them to squeeze me In. No concern about my treatment. Overall- not a professional place to go. Cannot rely on the staff to do their jobs. Hence- do not go there . My friend who had back surgery quit the group and is going someplace else due to the poor treatment by the staff running the business.

Dr. Sekhar is highly compassionate! He is also very precise when he recommends a procedure to relieve my many areas of pain I suffer from. I would recommend Dr. Sekhar to my mother. You will immediately feel the confidence in him to help you achieve a better quality of life. Practicing out of Greenwich Hospital, he is a shining star.

Dr Raj has no respect for other professionals who have appts and schedules And readjust their clients and day In order to come in for a 5/10 min procedure. I have waited no less than 1 hr and up to nearly two for his procedures which “‘took longer”. He does not live up to the Hippocratic oath he took; Practice two things in your dealings with disease: either help or do not harm the patient". He did not help. And he hurt. His huge ego needs an adjustment. I would seek other care.
