Dr. Walia is an excellent doctor. Simply wonderful! He is very very knowledgeable in his field of Pulmonology and very good at referrals of other doctors that can also help with other medical issues you may have concerning your medical case. He is kind, caring about your well being, friendly, courteous, straight to the point at all times, and very thorough at discussing your medical care, treatments, medications, test results, etc etc. Doctor Walia's medical team and staff are excellent as well. Just to name a few, Rebekah Edwards, DNP, FNP-C, Leticia "TC" Gordon, Medical Assistant III, Jenny Munaz, RN and many many others whom are excellent as well. When I come in for my office visit and test I know I am in excellent hands. Recently my brother had a stroke and he was lives in New Mexico. Dr. Walia, Rebekah and "TC" helped to get me a portable oxygen unit on short notice with my oxygen provider so that I could travel out of state. Excellent doctor, excellent care, & staff.

Dr. Walia has been my doctor for 2 years now. During that time, I have had a lung transplant and have seen Dr. Walia many times. My experience with him has been outstanding. Not only is he brilliant, but he is very caring, reassuring, sympathetic, honest, always remembers my case exactly, and takes time to answer mine and my wife's questions/concerns, I highly recommend Dr. Walia!

Dr. Walia is very smart and considerate. I've been under his care for 7 years and while i haven't needed a transplant I've seen him care for a family member who had received one. We were/are completely confident in his knowledge of Thoracic disease and transplantation. He's a great doctor and I always appreciate what close attention he pays. I highly recommend his practice to others ! :)

The care we received from Dr. Walia, the transplant team and the nursing staff at St. Joe's has been a god send. My husband was suffering from, Pulmonary Fibrosis and was on the verge of death when Dr. Walia and his team took over and save my Husband's live. they gave him a bilateral lung transplant and that was 2 1/2 years ago. I would highly recommend him for any pulmonary care or questions you may have... thank you so much for saving Jim. I Love Him so much. Barbara Snider

I became very ill with lung disease and had the opportunity to meet with Dr. Wahlia. He was able to diagnose quickly and care for me to stabilize my disease. Dr. Wahlia knew immediately based upon my symptoms and lung biopsy i had a rare autoimmune disease. Not only did he diagnose me quickly he sent me to National Jewish for a second opinion confirming what Dr. Wahlia diagnosed. Dr. Wahlia is intelligent and a warm bedside manner. He is the only Dr. I allow to care for my disease.
