Dr. Rajeev Batra, MD

I went to visit Dr. Batra about my cough and throat infection. I didn't have to wait long. When he saw me, he listened to my medical issues and gave me exactly what I needed. He did more for me than my PCP because he listened to me.

Dr. Batra and his staff is always compassionate for the patients needs. They go out of their way to make sure they get necessary care in a timely manner.

Got my life back: After losing over 50+ pounds just about a year without much health-exercise by me, and other doctors ran several tests but no root-cause was found and my health kept deteriorating. Luckily, I happen to discuss my severe health illness with Dr. Batra who helped diagnose with his relentless pursuit as to why I'm losing weight like crazy and in a quick turnaround time and with right initial tests, he immediately concluded that I've very low hemoglobin, iron and B12 causing me to barely survive due to diarrhea with very-little digestion and much nutrients NOT being absorbed by my body. He strongly recommended Colonoscopy ASAP - discovered ulcerative colitis and ulcers in food-pipe. Now that I'm on right medications and health improving, I cannot thank Dr. Rajeev Batra enough for finding the root-cause of why I'm always weak, out-of-energy and not able to focus and work at my job! Today, I'm able to get my life returned back to myself ONLY because of him!!

I have been seeing Dr. Batra for one year when I relocated back to Maryland last January. I highly recommend him and his entire staff, who are always polite, attentive and knowledgeable. I struggle with a number of medical issues, the most difficult being my diabetes and a number of related conditions that are painful at times difficult to cope with. He has worked vigorously with me these past 6 months to improve my whole state of being and I feel extremely well cared for and optimistic.
