Dr. Rajeev Fernando, MD

I took my mother in to see Dr. Fernando for a follow up visit for her heart. She is 76 years old and has congestive heart failure. Dr Fernando talked to my mother and me as if were were children the entire visit. He insulted my mothers weight and insulted me for advocating on my mothers behalf. He flailed his arms out at us and raised his voice while speaking to us as if we were not listening to him, however he was not listening the the question I was asking OF him.At one point I did call him a name as he was beyond frustrating and he would not allow me to speak. He then informed me that he is a nice person and comes in to see patients on Saturdays.Isn't that what his profession does? He actually said ' I am a DOCTOR' . As if this is the most amazing feat ever accomplished in the history of medicine. PLEASE DO NOT GO SEE HIM! You will be very sorry you did and leave his office feeling defeated and feeling ignorant.

I would not recommend Dr. Fernando. He was incredibly rude and unprofessional during my dad's ER visit for multiple blood clots in his lungs. Dr. Fernando, who was on duty at the time, made an inappropriate comment about my dad's weight, asking him, 'When are you having that baby?' On a prior visit, my dad had expressed concerns about his health, but Dr. Fernando dismissed them and failed to take them seriously. That same day we followed up with another one of my dad’s cardiologist and she took him off one of his medications since it was dropping his HR in the 40’s!

Dr. Fernando is an excellent cardiologist with a plethora of knowledge. I saw him for heart palpitations and chest pain. He listened to my concerns, ran the appropriate tests, and came up with a plan to help. He wasn’t quick to prescribe medications and I feel like he truly cared about what was in my best interest. I would highly recommend Dr. Fernando and will go back if such a need arises.

I have never had a doctor take the time to explain my health like Dr. Fernando. He took his time and made me feel very much at ease as he explained every detail . I feel he listened to my question attentively and showed genuine concern.

My history was reviewed & he took the time to listen to my questions & explain all medications. He even took time to explain past procedures using this drawing to better understand how this affects the present. Went over all my #s so I could make adjustments in lifestyle if needed. Congrats on good results. He lets you know what tests will need to be done in future & how frequently. I left feeling good & knowing what I need to do going forward. I highly recommend this Dr. The entire staff & office has a welcoming feeling.

Dr. Fernando is a very knowledgeable cardiologist who takes great care with his patients. My sister has a very complex medical history and Dr. Fernando is the only cardiologist that we trust to take care of her heart. Thank you for being there whenever she needs you.

Dr. Fernando is a very compassionate doctor and he really cares about his patients. He explained the medical condition in simple terms that lay person can understand easily. He answered our questions clearly and patiently. Would definitely recommend him to my friends and family.

Dr Fernando has been my cardiologist for several years, and my experience with him has always been positive. He is prompt and answers all my questions, and I have a great deal of confidence in him and the care he provides. I would highly recommend him to anyone searching for a cardiologist.

Terrible. Difficult to understand. Entered multiple incorrect information in my records. Very lat for appointment, waited in exam room over 45 minutes. I have no confidence in this Cardiologist.

Almost no concern for my medical condition. Poorly organized, unprepared.
