He was very congenial, appeared knowledgeable and took time to explain details of my issue.

Dr Valvani was very thorough and he listened carefully to my concerns about pain and discomfort.

Dr Valvani was good and real took my pain seriously.

With pictures from my MRI he pointed out the bulging disk and the nerve it is pinching. Then discussed the options for the next steps. I felt very comfortable with his diagnosis and advice for treatment.

I was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis at age 17. I am now 67 years old, and have experienced back pain on and off, all my life. I had a very positive experience with epidurals about 20 years ago. So I was not adverse at receiving them. I had another one about a month ago, and my experience with Dr. Rajeev Valvani with Pinnacle was absolutely terrible. Dr. Valvani gave me this epidural, and I experienced the worst pain I have ever experienced in my entire life. I screamed the three times he put a needle into my lower back, and actually hyperventilated the last time. He exhibited no compassion nor empathy towards me, instead he told me to slow down my breathing. My wife said that I looked to be in shock when I came out of the room. Later that day, we checked some of the medical review sites and were surprised to see that the majority reviews were either glowing for Rajeev Valvani or absolutely terrible like my experience was. If you need an epidural find another doctor.

Dr. Rajeev Valvani has the WORST bedside manner! My husband has had back pain since age 17. He has a very high pain tolerance. 20 years ago , he lected to undergo epidural treatment with a different doctor and had a very positive experience so he ignored Dr. Valvani’s aloof and dismissive demeanor and decided to have the epidural treatment. He came out after the procedure, completely white and looked like he had been seriously traumatized! I have been married to my husband for 31 years and had never witnessed anything like this before. He tole that the pain of the epidural needles caused him to literally scream out in pain. The doctor exhibited nocompassion. His only comment to my husband (during the third injection which caused my husband to hyperventilate) was to slow his breathing. Ummm, and any advice on how to do that?This was an awful experience and the worst part is it did not provide my husband and relief. He is still experiencing the same back pain! Very disappointing!

Dr. Valvani made me feel like I was his most important concern. He patiently answered all my concerns, and did not seem to be in a hurry to get to next appointment. He also spoke to me in a way that was clear regarding my case.

Dr. Galvanized was pleasant, soft spoken and very knowledgeable. I brought 4 MRI disc's including the radiologists remarks for his review before my consultation. He took the time to do just that.

I waited literally an hour in the waiting room with no one coming in to give me an update about the doctor status. When he came into the room, he introduced himself and never mentioned keeping me waiting for over an hour. My verbal answers to his questions or interrupted on occasion. He did a good job of explaining what my problem was, and what treatment options were. If I need something more serious done, I will seek a second opinion.

He was obviously focused on me and my needs. He clearly explained things and when I left I had no questions on information I was provided.

Upon entering I was greeted with satisfying eye contact and a confident hello “Let’s get you feeling better” approach.

Excellent overall knowledge, tremendous ability to break down the situation and communicate in layman’s terms what is going on and next steps to fix it.

I found Dr Valvani to be knowledgeable and very understanding of my issue and offered options for my care. But I did feel a little rushed and by the time I thought of questions he was gone.

I was seen in a timely manner. The staff was very nice. The appointment was efficient and informative.

Professional but not interested in my overall pain & how it may or may not be related to RA. I'm selective about what medication I take & seems this is not acceptable to this Dr. No discussion, just get me out quickly.
