Outstanding physician
Dr. Jain completed a total knee replacement procedure on the right. From our first meet up, to the actual procedure to the final appt., was beyond my expectations. He is a consummate professional but at the same time a very personable and easy to communicate with individual. Dr. Jain is confident in what he does and instills an air of confidence and trust in his patient. Absolutely highly recommend. If I need the left side done, he will no doubt be my 1st and only choice.

1 Year Kneeversary
Dr. Jain has given me my life back. I went to see three other surgeons at other practices and then found Dr. Jain. I literally could not walk from the bone on bone pain in my knee. Surgery was scheduled at Vantage Surgery Center which was also excellent and same day. Out to therapy 2 days after and back to watching my twin grandchildren at 8 weeks. It’s been one year since that surgery and I am so grateful for his skill and honesty. He is assured but humble. I came from Philly to have my knee done and no regrets. Thank you!

Horrible experience
Terrible, he was rude, angry and rushed. He told my wife and I “I don’t have time for a long conversation here” after we were in his office for about 3 minutes. Seems to have an anger/ego problem. Was nice initially and flipped on us the second meeting. I highly suggest not using his services.

From the very beginning when I first saw Dr Jain he listened, he answered all my questions and never did he rush me. I had a complete hip replacement his PA before and after the surgery were great. Before the surgery Dr. Jain came to check on me and after the surgery he came and told me what he did. I would recommend him and I have to others. I felt very comfortable with Dr Jain, and I had been to two others but Dr Jain is the one I picked. I am still in the healing process it has only been three weeks and I am doing great. If you need a hip Dr Jain is your doctor.

Dr. Jain is the best! He did my Total Right Knee Replacement in 2009 and my Total Left Hip Replacement In 2010. He treats his patients like family. He is so caring, honest, and sincere. His PA’s are great too. Reconstructive Orthopedics office staff are very nice and helpful. It has been 10 years since my replacements and I don’t even know they are there. He is an amazing surgeon! Soon he will be doing my husband’s Total Right Hip Replacement.

He is wonderful. Very personable and really knows his craft. I could not be more pleased with my results. I was walking without a cane in 2 1/2 weeks and the scar is hardly noticeable. Knowing I was in good hands was such a relief. I had no worries at all. He is THE best

Dr. Jain is a one-in-a-million Doctor! I saw 2 other ortho docs who were ready to perform replacement knee surgery on me. For whatever reason, I just wasn’t comfortable with either of them so I found Dr. Jain, based on patient reviews. I’ve never had a doctor lean back & “talk” with me after my x-rays the way Dr. Jain did. He very delicately explained that if he performed the surgery on me that I would be extremely at risk for infection despite all precautions he would take, due to my obesity! When we spoke about my weight, he recommended bariatric surgery because he had seen such great results, & afterwards, I might be able to avoid surgery on my knees! He gave me an injection that provided relief for more than six months. I have had the bariatric surgery & still have some more weight to lose before I’m at the target weight he suggested for his surgery. I have to say, my knees are feeling better than before; however, I’m sure I’ll be seeing him for replacement knees next year.

I waited over a month to just see a Physicians Assistant. Then my appointment was rescheduled 2 days before the appointment to a time early in the morning. I work nights, so this was really inconvenient - and I know the only reason they were rescheduling patients was that it was the day before a holiday. Upon arrival there were probably 50 patients in the waiting room. You think you overscheduled a little? Then I had to wait 2 hours after my appointment time to finally be seen. Bad management.

Excellent! Had TKR done on both knees. L/knee in Feb. and the R/knee in Nov. Highly recommend Dr. Jain for the procedure. His bedside manner is a-one. He entertained all my questions and reassured my fears. His Physician Assistant, Stephanie Godbolt, is awesome as well. Operating room staff exceptional as well. Have recommended Dr. Jain to many. You won't be disappointed.

After my TKR, my pain and disability was was worse than prior to my surgery. My condition kept deteriorating, but every time I brought this up to Jain, he told me to "just work on my quad muscle". He was dismissive of my pain, swelling, and lack of ability to use my knee. Eventually, I sought a second opinion from a doc at HUP, and had a revision surgery. Jain had put in the wrong size replacement, wrong post, and shaved my knee cap improperly. I would never recommend him as a surgeon.

I first went to Dr. Jain in late 2009 with severe osteoarthritis in my knee and had a partial replacement in February 2010. I got the second knee done in June 2012. Dr. Jain is THE best. My scars are almost non-existent and I have full range of mobility. Couldn't be happier with my experiences and have been happy to refer several co-workers to Dr. Jain as well.
