He is very rude and full of himself. Rushes you through your appointment and has no bedside manner. He is very hard to get a hold of. I do think he is knowledgeable because he definitely makes sure that is known. I have had manny visits with him. Do yourself a favor and pick another doctor.

limited help, no bedside manner
Had Dr. Joann Byers for some years, she was good. She retired, I was transferred to Jana. I've seen him for a year and his help with achilles has been minimal - something I just have to deal with the rest of my life, according to him. I had pain and had to see PA Coutour, who then wrote the wrong script (something I would not know - scrotal hernia vs femoral hernia), I had to get a second appointment with another Dr and a second ultrasound. STill having pain when I saw Jana for my physical a month later. Jana was unapologetic and unempathic for my financial and time troubles with Toocheck and Coutour who are his colleagues. I complained of testicular discomfort and he belittled my concern, stating it was a small cyst. When I noted it could have grown, he scoffed. This is all after a secretary made me schedule a mid-year follow up for another matter, and when I came in Jana apologized, said I didn't need to be there, yet I was still billed. I am going to find a new PCP and new office.

Dr. Jana is a fine doctor. Knowledgeable and thorough. Appointments never feel rushed. I regret that others didn't have as good of an experience with him.

Horrible office staff, no empathy, no caring, lost important , Danielle , CMA, lost paperwork that needed to be filled out for my mother to receive assistance to pay for her heart medication. They don’t take any responsibility and they just don’t care. My mom has been a been a patient there for decades. I will be finding a new doctors office that actually cares about the wellbeing of their patients.

I had a good experience with this doctor and the staff. They are nice and efficient. Dr. Jana does care about patients. He tells you the truth about your condition and he does follow up with you. I didn’t give him 5 stars because he isn’t available after hours and some doctors will go beyond their “officer hours” to reply to a request.

He is not sympathetic towards patients , his office staff is horrible to deal with . They will not listen nor accommodate any genuine requests . He does not bother to follow up even if you go to him after visiting ER

dr. Jana was the best help. he gave me great advice about what my health was like and how to treat it. he helped me get rid of my addictions and habits. i really thing you all should go see him. all the bad reviews was probably because they were mad because he didn’t give them medicine that they don’t need.

The few times I saw this "physician" were extremely negative experiences. He told me at one visit that there was nothing wrong with me from the neck down and at another visit he accused me of trying to get into a cabinet looking for medicines because I was standing (because of back pain) when he came into the room. I have since been diagnosed by a wonderful internal medicine doctor with a very serious autoimmune illness that was never even considered by this group of doctors. Go elsewhere

I really wish I read reviews before scheduling a new-patient appointment with him. Instead of recognizing progress I had made to become healthier, he made sure to point all of the things I was still doing wrong. He also dismissed my concerns of depression and anxiety, stating that if they weren't that bad at the moment, I should come back to him when they are.

I have been complaining of severe leg pain for over a year and made to feel like I was faking to stay off on disability. On 10/21/16 I was diagnosed with multiple blood clots in both lungs and told they have been there for a while. I could have died, was told to go back to work with multiple blood clots and lung capacity at 60%. I stayed with this doctor way to long and could have died in the process. Will never go back here again.

Had to give him one star because it wouldn't let me give zero. Dr. Jana is a horrible doctor who has no compassion for his patients. Asked him to write me a simple note to have my cat with me at school as I have extreme anxiety/depression and he told me he couldn't "medically justify it." Really? There are many medical journals that talk about how pets are soothing to those with mental disorder. Also when he asked how my medication worked and I told him good, he wanted to take me off it. Idiot!

The office staff here is terrible, as with every Premier location I have visited. Unfortunately, this is a reflection on the MD because his gatekeepers make decisions without talking to the MD. As a medical professional, this is totally unprofessional and I won't be back. Maybe Premier will listen to reviews like this, and act accordingly. If an MD allows the office staff to make his/her decisions, they are only as good as their weakest link.
