Terrible ER Service
Dr. Parikh was the doctor at Duke Hospital in Raleigh ER tonight 3/18. They had done test earlier because I have been dizzy, short of breath, nauseous, lower abdominal pain, light headed, and chest pain for the past 2 days. I originally went to urgent care because I didn't think much of it but when the doctor there said to go to the ER I did. I then took it serious because I dont go to the ER very often. When Dr. Parikh came in and said all it was is Acid Reflux I was beyond mad because he came in told me and then left. Didn't let me talk to him or anything. I know what my acid reflux feels like and this isn't it at all. I would not take my pet rock to him. I wish I could trust hospitals more but I cant because of stuff like this.

I have seen this Dr. Several times in the ER. I was never impressed. Today I was seen because my arm was hurting he did x-ray and said it was carpal tunnel. I told him I just took Motrin 800 and 2 tramadols. And.all he gave me was naproxen when I was crying in pain. When I asked for a heat pack he said don't you know your at betsy johnson. We don't have those you will have to get that at your house. He discharged me 20 minutes after he gave me the naproxen. They didn't even wait to see if it wa

Dr. Rajiv Parikh is a very rude disrespectful doctor. He yells at patients seen in the ER room and does not want to treat them. He was so horrible we requested to speak with the patient advocate. Nurses are there to clean up his behaviors because he is too much of a coward to apologize. Be aware if you go to Betsy Johnson ER in Dunn NC.

My sister and friends were in his er and this so called doctor refuse to treat them then proceed to scream at them with no provocation. I know the medical field is stressful but to yell at patients looking for help is highly unprofessional. Inflicting more pain on patients who need his help why be a doctor if it makes you that angry.

This person should not even be called a physician. He is totally incompetent. When I visited the ER ( for the first time in 30 years ) I expected to be treated with some degree of caring. This guy barely spoke to me, could have cared less that I had been out of the country, I never even made it to an exam room, he had a nurse to bring me a RX for Sudafed while another person was taking my insurance information. Needless to say, I was VERY upset and VERY sick. He did no tests, exams, NOTHING
