Incredibly rude, doesn’t respond to patients’ messages. Only gave one star because 0 stars was not an option. I’ve never been so repeatedly disrespected by a mental health caretaker.

This is by far the WORST doctor I have ever had in my entire 30 years of struggling with mental health. DO NO SEE THIS DOCTOR if you have mental health problems!! Dr. Mago is incapable of meeting his patients in person and makes bad, prejudicial assumptions about his patients at the expense of their treatment. He spends the minimal amount of time possible actually listening to his patients, he rushes every session because he has already decided what is wrong with you. Your input will either feed into his prejudices and make treatment impossible, or it will be ignored because it didn't fit into his preconceptions. This doctor is rigid and has no place being in the profession of mental health. Avoid this "doctor" at all costs, he is unscientific and lazy.

Dr. Mago is an incredibly compassionate, thoughtful doctor. He is exceptionally patient and works with you to improve your life in ways that matter to you. While he listens to your concerns, he focuses his sessions on "simple and practical" ways to improve your life and deal with your diagnosis. I can honestly say that getting diagnosed and treated by him has truly been a life-changing experience. I would fully recommend him to anyone seeking a kind, thorough doctor!

Dr. Mago is a very compassionate, reassuring, and skilled psychiatrist. I went to him for help when I was really at a low point and he made me feel like everything was going to be ok and I could stop worrying. He is an expert in his field and I would highly recommend him to my family and friends.

I first met Dr. Mago in 2003. My anxiety and depression was severe and life altering. Dr. Mago's kind manner and knowledge of this condition gave me a feeling of confidence that finally I had found the Doctor that was going to make the difference in the quality of my life. He is a very dedicated Psychiatrist. Your well being is his highest priority.

I have never had better care than with Dr. Mago, who I began seeing at the beginning of 2014. He is kind, patient, thorough, insightful, encouraging, and clear. Behind and in front of it all, he is extremely knowledgeable. His assessments of my diagnoses, made more than ten years ago and his adjustments in my medications and treatment have been very effective. He has followed up with me on a schedule that has been very supportive. I recommend him without reservation.
