Negligent
I started seeing him to manage the blood pressure medication I was taking to protect my kidneys. I was a patient for 7 years. He had me see him once a year. After 7 years he called to say I had Stage 4 kidney disease. I never knew my kidney disease was progressing. He never said or did anything about it. I saw him once a year, he refilled my BP Rx and said see you in a year. I immediately found a new rheumatologist who put me on meds to slightly improve and stop the progression. I wasted 7 years going from stage 2 to stage 4. He did nothing.

Kind and thorough
We've been going to Dr. Ray for a few years and he's always taken his time with us. He explains everything so we can understand and there is always a plan. I would recommend Dr. Ray.

1st time seeing Dr. Ray, very pleased took time to listen about what is going on with my condition, explained things so you can understand them, wasn't in a rush to get to next patient, def feel comfortable with him & will continue seeing him. Very good experience.
As always, Dr. Ray listens and seems interested in patient. He answers questions and gives good advice. Goes over any lab work with patient and is clear about what patient should do. Always had a good visit with Dr. Ray.

Catching up with Dr Ray
I hadn’t seen Dr Ray in ten years but he made me feel as if it was yesterday. He is kind, patient, understanding and very generous with his time. He never makes you feel like he’s rushing to see his next patient. And he talks to you and answers your questions in words you can understand.
