Unethical practices
I can scarecly believe this man is allowed to practice after my experience with him. I was referred to screen for a type of Tachycardia and was asked a few questions that he didn't bother to listen to my answers to. He bulldozed over my answers with rude comments on my weight, blatantly ignoring the progress I have been making on losing weight prior to the visit (more than 20lbs down) and telling me to eat in a way that is not appropriate for a patient with a history of disordered eating. He then told me my EKG was fine and to get weight loss surgery and he was putting me on a medication to lower my heart rate, not bothering to tell me the name of the medication. The health advocate I brought with me was appalled by how I was treated.Upon reviewing the paperwork from the visit I found that he had diagnosed me with OCD after less than 5 minutes. Mind you, I have been screened for this by behavioral health speialists who found that I did not have this condition. Very unprofessional.

Reckless care
This doctor told us in Dec 2021 that my mother's heart was fine-"See you in a year". She died 4 months later with aortic valve stenosis. The doctors at Winter Haven hospital spotted the problem immediately, but it was too late. Don't take your loved ones to this guy!

Would not recommend this cardiologist, went in scared because of shortness of breath and he recommended that I was dehydrated. Needless to say, I went to the emergency room and was treated for heart failure. Wow, this guy is a doctor! He's fired, I will find someone that can help me when needed. I would not let this guy look at my Labrador

He didn't explain anything. He didn't tell me my EKG was abnormal. After him prescribing a heart monitor for a month, the nurse called and said he wanted me to start on Eliquis. No explanation was provided! Very poor communication.

I have had a very unprofessional experience with Dr. Choubey. My appointment was cancelled and I was not notified this until I arrived for my appointment. The receptionist was rude about my appointment being cancelled. This appointment was a hospital follow up and the doctor refused to see me and would not allow me to make an earlier appointment than my regular appointment which is a month away. Needless to say, I won't be going to this appointment or returning to this doctor.
