He refused to place tear duct plugs which provide me with great relief for my severe dry eye condition even though the last doctor I saw there did. He said I did not have dry eye, based on nothing, no tests on my eye done. When I complained to the manager, she said the doctor said that because he was not going to get any money from my insurance company. She said I would have to come back to see another doctor and pay for the second visit. I said no. Today I had to drive back to my former ophthalmologist in NYC and pay out of pocket for the plugs. He said it was ridiculous that I was told I no longer have dry eye without doing any tests or asking me how my eyes feel. He said plugs provide great relief and there is no excuse for Danbury Eye Center to provide me with proper care. As a matter of fact, I found out all the advice they gave me there about my eyes was wrong.
