Downplayed, gaslit and unresolved.
I went to the ER for a reaction to my mental health medication as instructed by my psychiatrist. I hoped to receive blood tests to understand the severity of my condition. (This certain medication can cause life-threatening reactions if left untreated). Dr. Weiche did not ask about my symptoms. I told him about a skin rash (a common side effect) on my back, and he asked me take off my shirt... in the emergency room hallway. (I am a young woman). He took me into the back corner of a shared room with several sick patients for more privacy. He took pictures of my skin rash and told me that my symptoms were likely flu or covid symptoms. When I explained to him that I reacted poorly to this medication before and that I knew that my symptoms were related, he ordered allergy meds, a covid test, and then left me in the back room for several hours as my symptoms progressed. I am now alone, issues unresolved, unable to go back to the ER for help because Dr. Weiche won't listen.

I would give no stars if I could. Had to coerced by the nurse to speak to me after diagnosis. Just was going to have the nurse hand off the paperwork. Barely looked at me initially and didn't take pain seriously at all.

I was stuck in a needless visit to the ER for a break on my radial head. He didn't introduce himself, didn't really listen to me and proceeded to poke and prod my arm. His bedside manner was gruff and he spent all of 2 minutes talking with me. I was under the assumption that I was seeing a surgeon and not this guy.

Dr. Weiche was volunteering at our local ski resort and assisted me with a broken ankle I sustained while snowboarding over the 2016 holidays. Initially he was quite busy with a young man who had dislocated his arm and broken/fractured ribs so it took some time before he could see me. I had to specifically ask for an ice pack and Tylenol, but he did seem knowledgeable and correctly diagnosed me as well as advised me tactfully and sternly to have it checked by my primary care physician.
