In 1995 I was diagnosed with NHLymphoma stage 4 and Sutter and UCD sent me home to die. The flippant attitude was expressed by saying "you won't live 5 years." Dr. Lalchandani literally saved my life as I had low grade and high grade, so with Stanford in the mix doing much of what I had already researched, they went to work and I am here 25 years later in pretty good health. My experience with Dr. Lalchandani is one of respect, knowledge, and kindness to the nth degree!! I have referred many to this wonderful doctor. By the way I was referred to him by Dr. Renfro who said he was the best in Sacramento. Words alone could never convey how grateful I am to have met this wonderful man.

I see Dr. Lalchandani at Sierra Heme/Onc. He is one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is so kind and gentle, and I have always felt safe with him. He really cares about his patients and his work. He is very thorough and careful. I would highly recommend him to anyone. I have to say that the prior poor review was obviously written by someone who is destructively trashing people randomly for their own sick gratification, and the comments are absolutely false. Dr. Lalchandani is the most respectful and appropriate doctor I have met. And I am a doctor myself, so I think I know how to judge my peers.

Dr. Lalchandani has been caring for my Mother for many years. In addition to his high competency level, he is exceptionally kind and compassionate. Always available to answer questions, meticulously explains medical conditions, great at identifying and resolving medical issues. He is everything you want in a doctor.

I just read a review of Dr. Lalchandani that described an experience so far removed from my own that I feel compelled to relay my cancer journey with him. Dr. Lalchandani was kind, caring, a good listener, a thoughtful responder to my questions, and most importantly, calming - during a possibly stressful cancer journey. I have not seen him in years, but as I reflect on my care and treatment, I feel a kinship to him as Dr. Lalchandani embodies both of those terms: Care and Gentle Treatment.
