I have been a patient of Dr. S. for several years.
He always listens to my concerns. If I am concerned about something. He always, always addresses my concerns. The Office Staff are very friendly. The Waiting Room is clean and inviting. The Appointment is very efficient and Professional. I would highly recommend.

Great Doctor
I have seen Dr. Ram for many years and highly recommend him. He specializes in many areas affecting people as they grow older which is a different set of skills than family practice. He is a gentle personality and very smart, he listens attentively to every word you have to say and addresses the concerns quickly and efficiently. I have talked to him about end of life issues and he is very knowledgeable helping me to form my final wishes that honors my philosophy while understanding the medical procedures. He is easy to talk to. His staff is very nice to deal with and very organized. He treats your success with enthusiasm but reserves his humor so as not to offend but I have pushed the envelope and made him laugh. I highly recommend and respect this Doctor and stuck with him for many years as a result.

Cares more about sitting at his PC than patients
While you can get in quickly and taken back quickly, that's it. The doctor does the bare minimum and has a horrible bedside manner. Anybody who isn't self aggressive in their health might like this passive, do the bare minimum care.

Doctor Ram genuinely cares. He's never too busy to spend time with a patient, to write a referral, or all the other things that come with being my primary care physician. He visits me whenever I am in the hospital and makes sure I am doing well. He also treats my kids with the same level of care. I absolutely love him to bits!

Doctor doesn't have a good bedside manner. Although he seems to somewhat listen to you it feels like he's just going through the motions. It feels like he's more concerned about himself and getting you in and out. One wonders if he really cares about you and your health or just himself.

He didn't even say hello to me when he walked into the room. The first time he met me he walked past me avoiding eye contact. I felt embarrassed telling him anything about myself because he just ignored me. I needed him to call my insurance for a poor authorization for medication payment and he still hasn't for over a month. He seems very burned out on his job and doesn't care about people.

This doctor sucks. I was referred to him as a PCP after a visit to the ER. Had a bad first impression but still chose to see him a second time, thinking I initially caught him on a bad day. Equally horrible experience again. He had no compassion or understanding for my situation, answered his cell phone during our consult, and didn’t even bother with any common pleasantries. One star only for the reception staff/nurses. I believe every other doctor I’ve seen in my lifetime provided better services. Find someone else who will care and not waste your time and money.

Communication skills are poor. Barely speaks or looks at you. Told my sister she had memory problems but NOT dementia. Next appointment he told her she has dementia. Said he was hoping to find another reason for her memory loss. Don't definitively say something unless you are 100 percent sure. Refered her to a Neurologist. We wait for months for the appointment only to find he never sent the results of her blood work or CT Scan to the neurologist. We had even called his office staff and reminded them to send the results. We reminded them as we could see how dysfunctional this office is. Well they proved us more then right. Find another doctor as this one us a poor choice.

I went to see this doctor with extreme hypothyroidism and adrenal insufficiency, including swelling in my lower legs and other classic hypothyroid symptoms. He ordered a blood test which only tested for TSH. My TSH level was okay; but TSH is a pituitary hormone, not a thyroid hormone. I got other lab tests elsewhere which showed dangerously low thyroid activity. Dr. Subureddiar totally missed it. He even ignored all my classic physical sympyoms of hypothyroidism. He is clueless.

Dr Ram and staff have been taking care of me for about 3 years now. I compare him to my old family Dr. in a way, due to the fact that he takes the time needed to find out your current condition, and how you are really doing. Trustworthy, caring, come to mind when describing his demeanor. We are very fortunate to have him in Tucson. His great staff, headed by Serena , go up and beyond expectations when dealing with the pharmacy, clinics, etc. they are just fantastic!

The best of the best! If you want a doctor that cares with a staff that goes over and beyond for their patients this is the doctor for you! Dr. Ram and his staff bring back what a family doctor used to be! One night I got sick in the ER when I was about to be discharged and he showed up to see me personally!
