The exam room was dirty, which includes the exam table, 2 doctor stools, and the chairs for patients to sit in. I am sorry, but , I could not understand hardly anything he said. He pointed to the areas he wanted tested. I was lost. As far as I could see, there were no Covid guidelines. He did not wash his hands before he examined me or after. They did wear their masks, though. I would think that united Health Care Ins. Co. would check in on the few doctor's that they have in each area, occasionally to make damn sure their offices are clean and properly sanitized.

He would rather rush and make money instead of caring for people. Sometimes being a doctor comes first. No follow up instructions and no explanation of the actual surgery. Parrish should consider getting a new partner

I was treated by the doctor and he has zero bedside manor, non communicative at all. Insisted I had to have a procedure and waiting a day or more would not help. He gave ZERO medication before during or after. I felt him cutting and scraping inside my skin the entire time. He didn’t care that it was unbearable and the nurse was upset and after he left the room, she apologized several times and said he was (her words verbatim) “torturing you for no good reason at all”. He should not be allowed to practice medicine ANYPLACE! Let alone in Parish Hospital.

I only went to get a new battery for my pacemaker two years ago. I spent the first year with 5-7 additional heart surgeries because of the horrible outcome caused by this simple same day surgery... I went back so weak and close to death and showed him and his wife how beet red the area was and he refused to give me antibiotics and yelled at me to never tell anyone I have an infection caused by him. Fast forward to 2 years later and forty days of hospitalization, finally starting to recoup, but I am still having pain in that area. The man and his Wife nearly killed me. Does the wife also have a dr degree??

I entered the hospital with a severe intestinal bleed. I was convinced that after 4 colon resections, my result would be complete removal of my colon. Dr. Patel was very conservative in his surgical approach. he listened, encouraged and proceeded slowly. He believed rest and time might help resolve the issue. After contemplating surgery and then cancelling such, I have fully recovered. There is no further bleeding; I have not had a colostomy appliance; and I am so relieved. SUPER Dr. Patel.
