I have been to Dr. Arfoosh twice. Both times I waited a long time in the waiting room. The second time it was 55 minutes before I was even taken back. My total time there was over 2 hours. First it's the person who takes blood pressure, etc. Then I saw an intern and a medical student. They were quite nice, looked me in the eye, listened, etc. Then I finally saw the dr. He was quite rushed, just as he was the first time. I told him how long I had waited and he said he was glad I told him. Then I had to retell my issues for the 3rd time. He spent more time talking to the med students than me. He doesn't listen well. He had me fill out a sleep apnea questionaire. Before I finished filling it out, another person came in and gave me a take home device to test for sleep apnea. He never looked at the questionaire which was almost all no's. Snoring was the only yes. The next day I was told I tested negative for sleep apnea but to schedule an overnight test. I declined. I'm done with him.

xtremely poorly trained front office staff! Have had nothing but problems with the staff giving poor information on cpap supplies and maintenance. Was told that I could only get supplies from this office every 6 months. After constant URI infections for 3 months and many office visits to my PCP and calls to Respironics, was told that is not the case and supplies should be changed on a very specific schedule of 1/2/3 and 6 mo schedule to meet Medicare Guidelines that insurance companies follow. After fighting with staff (and staff screaming at me that they would not give me supplies), and after my insurance company BC/BS called to tell them they were not following guidelines, I changed to a cpap supplier LIncare and have not had any problems getting any supplies or any sickness. I went yesterday with a medical issue that would require a different type of mask, and the same staff told me that my insurance would not pay for that! Was told that I only had the first 30 days to decide what m

My condition has worsened under Dr. Arfoosh's care. He has not found the right medication for me. He does not take enough time to get to know you and understand your needs. The atmosphere of this office is also very unprofessional with the employees laughing and talking with each other.

His medical knowledge seems good but Dr always in a rush. The office staff seems to have many new faces with less than desirable customer service skills. On one visit near the end of the day, I was left in a room for blood work and they forgot I was in there or the Dr never gave them orders(i finally spoke up and they did not know I was there) On another occasion, I scheduled allergy testing and they did not give instructions on not taking certain meds prior(I had to resch at last minute)

Dr. Arfoosh is the only doctor thus far to have come up with a diagnosis for a severe cough I have suffered with for about 12-15 years. Not sure wexan do anything about it, but the ongoing care I am participating in makes ma feel as though he is closely monitoring my condition and looking for ways to reduce the severity of the cough. I appreciate his help thus far.
