Absolutely No Social Skills Whatsoever
Dr Pooyan is arrogant, condescending, and self-important. He has absolutely no social skills whatsoever. He spent less than two minutes in the exam room, and became defensive and haughty when I asked him questions. In the middle of one of my questions, he left the exam room, and when I followed him out into the hallway asking him for an answer he replied, “Get another doctor.” Later that day, I was emailed the details of my visit and Dr Pooyan charted that in addition to (barely) examining my hand, he had also: gone over my body mass index, discussed a healthy lifestyle with me, and had provided me with care instructions, none of which is true. He barely looked at my hand, let alone discussed any of these other topics. However, Dr Pooyan did take the time to be sure and bill my insurance...for things he did NOT do. There is no way I would allow him to do surgery on my hand.

Dr, Pooyan has been my doctor for 10 years. He first took care of me at Desert Regional for a brown recluse spider bite. He made sure I have the right care and was instrumental in my recovery! He also did both of my rotator cuff surgeries, the most recent being this past June. Dr. Pooyan is professional, caring and listens to you. I have gladly recommended him to a number of friends. He is the only orthopedic I go to.

Excellent Physician
If you’re looking for a doctor to blow kisses in your ear and enjoy your family photos, Dr. Pooyan is not your guy. BUT, if you want an excellent surgeon/physician who provides outstanding care and treatment, he’s your man. His office staff is friendly, responsive and competent too, and I recommend Dr. Pooyan without hesitation.

This doctor was so rude, he had a terrible bedside manner, and didn’t give me five seconds to complete a sentence without interrupting me. The thought of going back to see him makes my skin crawl, and the route girls at the reception area were just as rude, and when I brought this up to them they didn’t care one bit. I would not recommend this doctor

I had only a consultation with Dr. Pooyan. He was extremely rude, interrupting both myself and my husband numerous times. His attitude was also quite condescending. I would not let this doctor near me with a ten foot pole!

I snapped the tendon loose at the tip of my ring finger. Dr. Pooyan took me into immediate surgury. Repaired the tendon by pinning it to the fingertip bone. 5 weeks out my surgury site on my entire ring finger is healed. I am now doing physical therapy. Thank you for doing what you do. Ill be playing guitar again in no time now because of your great patient care and medical knowledge. Your staff has always be friendly and profes sional.

I was referred to Dr. Pooyan by my neurologist after an EMG confirmed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome on both my wrists. I saw him first in OCT/15 to discuss having the right wrist CTR done. I had problems with numbness/tingling on and off for years and was told it was from a nerve impingement in my C6 so I thought I had to ''suck it up''. When I met with Dr Pooyan I felt reassured and confident in his treatment. We did the right wrist in Dec. It went so well I had him do the left wrist this past August

He cut my nerve in my right hand and would not admitted he did. He open it up the next day and said it was simply a hemotoma. How did that get their? His response, I don't know. He insulted me and lied too. I lost sensation in three fingers. I went for refferals with 3 reputable docs. They all said he must have nicked the nerve. I had surgery with Dr. Neil Jones of USC Irvine. Highly recommend him. He diagnosed a tumor. He did micro-surgery. After 2 years and no sensation. The photos tell all
