So glad I got a Dr. Stone!
That time when the first surgeon told you, your hernias were not big enough to worry about. Then you got to see Dr. Stone! And he listened to what was actually happening and said I think I can help you.AND THEN HE DID!! Thank you, Jesus!

I had to get mesh removal
Dr Stone is very technically proficient. However he fails to address the concerns of each patients needs. I met with Doctor Stone for an incarcerated hernia while pregnant and was advised by him that we could wait to repair after delivery but it would absolutely need to be addressed. 8 weeks postpartum I had surgery and recovered well… but started developing pain roughly 6 weeks post op. I visited Doctor Stone twice and both times he gave me my post-op notes and told me to just wait. However the pain continued to get worse and spread. A CT-scan showed that my abs were tacked in place and unable to heal postpartum, my mesh was being bent by the natural tightening of by abs and causing pain. I ended up needing mesh removal surgery which fixed all issues.

Dr. Stone
I was referred to Dr Stone by my primary physician for an umbilical and inguinal hernia. From the first appointment to surgery, to the follow-up, Dr Stone was amazing. He does a great job of explaining the process and describing what to expect both pre and post operation. I would highly recommend Dr Stone

Exceptional experience
I had to have a hernia surgery, which was uncomfortable and some thing I wanted to delay. After being referred to Dr. Stone, I reluctantly took the meeting knowing it’s something I should get. From the moment I stepped into their office, I was comforted by their friendliness, professionalism and care. The surgery itself was smooth allowing for a quick and easy recovery. Overall, a great experience.

Pure unprofessionalism. Glad I didn't end up getting surgery here. In February I needed to get my gallbladder taken out. I called Dr. Stone and they said that with my specific insurance they wouldn't be able to take me until March 1. So I called first week of march and they called me back on March 7. They were missing some specific form to get faxed to them, which I had faxed over on the same day. After not hearing from them for a few days (I assumed they'd call once they got the form), I called back on March 15 and they said "Well, if you had called us back earlier maybe we could have gotten you in, but now we don't take your insurance after March 28 because it doesn't pay that well" I have NO idea what any of that means on the backend with insurance, but it sounds like they don't like dealing with Blue Cross Blue Shield (not exactly a small provider) and jerked me around for 6 weeks over it. Getting my gall bladder out is important, and making we wait 6 weeks only to tell me sorry see ya later is borderline negligent. Factor this in when you're deciding where to get surgery from this doctor. Do you really want to get surgery from someone greedy at best and completely unorganized at worst? Do you want them to forget some small part of your body before they sew you back up? v

Umbilical hernia procedure
For years, I had what is called an Umbilical Hernia. I had put off any kind of treatment until my belly button became a bit sensitive to touch and generally felt uncomfortable. Thats when I decided to do some research on my own and discovered that this condition could be harmful to my health. I came across Dr. Ramsey Stone through a Google search and immediately scheduled my appointment to meet and discuss my condition. Dr. Stone was very professional, attentive and knowledgeable, answering all my questions about my condition and what the procedure and post-op recovery would entail. With all the information at hand, I felt confident and comfortable to move forward and schedule my procedure. My surgery was a success! I cannot say enough about my experience with Dr Stone and my procedure. He did a wonderful and meticulous job!

A Physician of Incomparable Skill and Class
Dr. Ramsey Stone is among a group of physicians increasingly difficult to find - those of superior levels of technical competency, unambiguous communication, great listening aptitude, and spiritual awareness. Someone who takes patients and the Hippocratic Oath seriously. Dr. Stone and his team - all concerned - are one tough act to follow. Actually got more from the surgery and treatment than just great physical results - one comes away a bit smarter and wiser.

Highly recommended!
Dr. Stone was referred to me by a nurse friend who had also used him for a successful surgical procedure. I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. He listened to my concerns and put me at ease. Prior to surgery he visited us in the waiting room and took the time to ask if I had any concerns. He definitely put me at ease about my surgery and took the time to pray with me before I went in, and I went in calm and at peace. I had a successful surgery and recovery. I highly recommend him!

The most skillful & compassionate surgeon
Dr. Stone is one of the kindest, compassionate, & most skillful people I have ever met. My mom and then 2 years later my uncle, underwent a robotic hernia repair surgery, performed by Dr. Stone. Within 3 months, they fully recovered and have had perfect outcomes since - no recurrence of hernia or pain. Dr. Stone's bedside manner was excellent. He stayed in touch, addressed our questions/concerns and explained in a way that was easy to understand. I had the opportunity to sit in the operating room in-person and observe Dr. Stone perform a gallbladder removal surgery and a robotic hernia repair surgery on two patients. He was incredibly gentle with the tissues and precise with the surgical instruments. Both operations were successful - the two patients were discharged later that day. His compassionate nature and sound judgment make him great. He tailored the treatment plan to my mom's specific needs and she felt that he truly cared for her wellbeing. You'll be in very good hands!

Robotic Hernia Surgery
I was referred to Dr. Stone by my general MD for a hernia. After initial consultation, Dr. Stone scheduled robotic surgery to be preformed due to to possible issues from previous abdominal surgery. I admit I was a little apprehensive, but it couldn't have gone better! There was little to no after surgery pain and the only issues were the expected air pain and constipation.. All of which cleared up quickly and I resumed normal activities within a week. In fact, there were so few of issues, I had to keep reminding myself that I had just had surgery and to not overdue it. I can say that if I ever have the need for Dr. Stone's services again in the future, I would not hesitate and I would highly recommend him to anyone!!
