Dr Henderson's office staff incompetent.
Doctors staff are not processing med approvals, referrals, etc. and are extremely defensive when questioned. Dr Henderson is also defensive and refuses to discuss. This is unacceptable as it interferes with my overall healthcare.

Please read through my review.
3 times in 5 years I was prescribed medications that were not supposed to be taken together. So for the last 2 months I have passed out 10-11 times. Finally after the 4 hematomas that I suffered and MRIs on my head from falls I went to a specialist. On this page I can’t go into more detail or it won’t post. I hope others have a better experience in their 5 years than mine and are respected, as a patient, then I was.

I love Dr. Henderson and his staff. They always make you feel welcome and listens to what you have to say about your health. They will try to schedule you in to see them based on your availability especially if you work long hours. Wouldn't trade doctors for anyone! I have been with Dr. Henderson since he came to Whitney.

Got to Dr. Henderson thru the VA community care program. The VA had sent my extensive records to him. To my great surprise he had read up on my long list of ailments and was ready to present a treatment plan on the first visit. Such a wonderful surprise when a typical VA visit consist of the Dr. greeting you and then pulling up my records on the computer and lightly brushing up on my history for 1/2 minutes and then asking “ what can I do for you”. I’m looking forward to being treated by Dr. Henderson and his second tier of staff that I have no problem being treated by when I need something right away. 5 minutes from my house as apposed to a 1 or 2 hour drive to either Waco or Temple.

Absolutely love this doctor and would never go to another one!! His nurse Lisa is the second best person in his office (him being number one of course). They both take time to listen to you and figure out what is going on. He has been my doctor for almost 11 years now and I figure I will probably still be with him when he retires.

Do I recommend, ABSOLUTELY! He has been my Dr. for 7-8 years. and I would not even consider, changing to another. WHY? Because he has true concern for my health,He listens to my concerns and respects my input. so he is not arrogant. We all , hopefully, have a sense of our health problems and he will address those, in priority. He diagnose me with a life threatening illness and sent me to a specialist that took that FROM my existence. I am grateful. And his nurse Lisa, she ROCKS, GOOD DR.

Ive been a patient of his since he first came to Whitney. I absolutely love him and his nurse, Lisa. Recently I've had a hard time purchasing meds. He always gives me samples to get me through the month. I've walked in 5 minutes before closing without an appt. And he gave me some samples.God bless this Doctor that really listens to what I have to say.
