Dr. Randall Scott, MD

20 years ago I had become very ill. I wondered if it was all in my head, the symptoms were strange. Dr. Scott was my Dr and saw me immediately at my first request. After the exam, I was in tears. I will never forget the kindness in his voice. 'I don't know what it is, but I can tell you 3 things. It isn't fatal, it isn't cancer, and it's not in your head' . He then got me quickly referred to specialists who ultimately diagnosed me with a rare autoimmune disease. I moved out of state and have had dozens of doctors since, but Dr. Scott has always been the BEST I have always compared them to.

I have been going to Dr Scott for years. I have found he and his staff professional, understanding (not judgmental), and very helpful. He has been spot on with record keeping, prescriptions, and advise. I highly recommend him.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Scott for years. He's very thorough, very caring and is an excellent internist. I have recommended him to several people and will continue to do so. He is definitely a five star doctor.

If you have a concern or request for follow up you will need to deal with untrained office staff and his assistants that have extremely poor communication skills and incomplete or incorrect medical records. They send messages to which Dr. Scott may or may not respond to. Very frustrating and inefficient. I received several concerns from my specialists offices that his staff doesn't seem to know what they are doing; Dr. Randall's office requested unrelated documents; sent referral to wrong dr.

He was very dismissive and overlooked medical issues. It took over 1 month to get a referral for follow up physical therapy. Many clerical and communication mis-steps along the way that were frustrating to both myself and other providers. Medical records were not properly maintained.

My first appointment with Dr. Scott was a great connection for many reasons. My wife Susan who is ill and is being seen in the same office by Dee Ann Kaserer had been after me to make an appointment, I asked her why she felt so strongly on this and her answer was just this simple...because he has a kindness in his heart that shows and not afraid to let it shine. Then there was my good neighbor and friend Mark who told me I really should go see him, he does. Then Dr. Scott shared a story WOW!

In January I was very sick with influenza and RSV. Dr. Scott's staff found someone to see me I met a NP who was awesome and very professional. The office staff that is welcoming, happy, and always outgoing. How many places today can you go to a doctors office, be welcomed by your first name and then sit in a comfortable waiting room? Waiting time is minimal and the staff is wonderful! Thank you! Jean

Finally, I have found a physician that is honest, has empathy and is very knowledgeable about health and wellness that practices in Flagstaff. Dr. Scott is a patient teacher that takes time to explain the many subtle aspects that an ol dude can do to improve overall quality of life. I was ready to give up on finding a WOW doc in Flagstaff. Oh, Dr. Scott comes prepared when he opens his examination room. He takes time to listen and respond while building on previous appointments.

Dr. Scott and his Medical staff are Awesome! I have seen everyone and would recommend them all! Appointments are easy to schedule and if it is urgent they will get you in. They take their time and really listen to you. The office staff are friendly and knowledgeable, Annie is Amazing! Best in Flagstaff!

Dr. Scott is very professional and is very sincere about helping his patients. You never feel rushed in his office. He takes the time necessary to answer questions and concerns.

From the time I started going to Dr. Scott he has treated me like a friend. I can confide in him and he has never demeaned me in any way.

At 77, having lived in no fewer than a dozen cities, I've obviously been the patient of more than a few physicians. There has not been one more thorough, more generous with time and information, and more pleasant to deal with than Dr. Scott (and his staff). A year after moving nearly 100 miles distant I have no plans to, no interest in making a change. The 200-mile roundtrip is well worth the time and effort.

Dr Scott is one of most caring doctors I know.

Dr. Scott is very cordial. Always smiles. He explains everything to my satisfaction. If you ask him questions, he will give you an answer. He is not stingy with his time. He takes as long as needed with me as a patient. I totally enjoy going to Dr. Scott, no negativity. The staff is very nice as well.

The girl at the window with long black hair that checks you in and handles your insurance is horrible! I've never met some one within a medical office with such horrible manners! What happened to customer service!? I understand they probably put up with a lot of negative people everyday, but this girl goes way over the line! Very rude and nasty when you question anything or are late. And they defend her! You dont belong in customer service at all! Won't be back and I even liked the Dr!

Dr. Scott is very cordial and professional with a touch of humor. He makes me feel at ease and relax in maybe why my blood pressure is way down! He practices sound, safe and least invasive medicine. I was heading in the wrong health direction and he directed me to change my diet and increase my exercise to living with no flags referencing issues with my blood work. I highly recommend him and his support staff has always been fast, friendly and courteous. Good on you all!

First of all the office staff ALWAYS remembers me! And the backroom nurses are very cordial and efficient and knowledgeable. Dr. Scott ALWAYS spends close to an hour with me on my twice yearly appointments and close to 30 minutes when I go in a pinch. I would never go to a different medical office!
