Dr. Randall Weingarten, MD

Dr. Weingarten is very professional and to the point, staff very friendly and helpful. My surgery went well and I am very pleased with the care I received. Was referred by my general doctor was a good choice.

I am a current patient of Dr. Weingarten. He is a great doctor, but his staff is lacking--both in person while I am at his office -and by phone. Right now I have been on hold for 10 minutes. My call went straight to voicemail.I was calling to confirm my appointment, which I scheduled in the office last year. I live in Summerlin, so his office is not around the corner. Dr. Weingarten is aware of the difficulty with his staff, but nothing seems to have changed or improved.

He’s professional and cares about his patients

My experience was terrible and I would never recommend him to anyone who doesn't enjoy being abused by someone who is supposed to help.

Dr. Weingarten was the ONLY doctor (saw 4 other ENTs) that correctly diagnosed & removed my nasal polyps relieving my YEARS of suffering from terrible sinus & throat infections! He’s THE BEST!

My wife saw him last year and was happy with the results. I was seen shortly after my arrival. Dr. Weingarten is personable and knows his stuff. The staff was friendly and professional. While I still have more tests to go through I trust him and his staff.

Office waiting room for patients is mask OPTIONAL! This is a medical practicener's office right? I was NOT in his office to see him, rather the audiologist which shares offices with him. This common area should have required ALL patients to wear masks. I had to wait outside until called to feel safe.

Tried to call to make a follow up appointment with an ENT after an ER visit as they suggested. Receptionist informed that the doctor wouldn't see us because we had been at the hospital. Never heard of a doctor refusing a patient because they had went to an ER during non-office hours.

To start off let me say I have never felt so bad for assistants/nurses or staff. I would use the word disgusting to describe how he talks to them. Secondly, he’s rude to the patients I have never been spoken to like that and almost lost my cool. We ended up just walking out instead of scheduling a checkup.

Dr Weingarten helped relieve my constant sinus issues. Surgery was uncomfortable for 2 days but painless. Would definitely recommend him to someone needing relief from sinusitis.

knows what he is doing and runs a good office

I was a returning patient and he correctly treated my initial complaint but when I was trying to discuss another issue related to my sinuses he interrupted me, told me he didn't want to hear it, said "tootle loo", and left the room.

I don't know how he got such a high rating from so many people. I had a terrible experience. Dr. Weingarten was rushed and very rude, pushing me out the door when I still had questions and concerns. He has a very high opinion of himself and will insult other doctors if they're brought up. I will say this much for Elliot the office manager(?), he was probably the best part about my visit, a polite and upbeat man. Compared to other reviewers, maybe I just met him on a good day? I had no problem with him.

Where do I start. I went to see Dr Weingarten because of vertigo. One week after seeing him I developed some inflammation around one side of my neck. I went back to Dr Weingarten and he assured me the inflammation had nothing to do with the vertigo. Nevertheless, my primary doctor ordered some blood work and an US. Blood work showed my thyroid was fine and the US was inconclusive. I went back to Dr Weingarten (me thinking that his was still related to my thyroid ) and he ordered a biopsy of the thyroid. That showed, what Dr Weingarten referred to as “dirty fatty”. He took a second look at all the blood work that my primary had ordered, the US and biopsy. He recommended I see an oncologist to make sure there was nothing behind the collar bone. I saw the oncologist a couple of days later and he ordered a CT of the chest…..thank God for Dr Weingarten’s knowledge and experience. The CT showed a mass on my right lower lobe. He’s my guardian Angel!

I saw him in May, 2020. He was knowledgeable about the anatomy of his specialty and honest about me not needing surgery; however, Dr. Weingarten was hurried, didn't listen thoroughly to my questions, disinterested about my concerns, combative, dismissive, talked over me, experienced CT scan scheduling staff fiasco, one-week call back delay, ordered wrong antibiotic from my pharmacy (despite my medical history provided clearly stated which ones I could take), had to go his office 3x due to delay and oversight regarding script request, unscrupulous billing practices (expected me to pay co-pay via bulk daily fax from billing company with NO heading or name of his practice on it), and put the onus of staff oversights on ME every time! His bedside manner has little to be desired and needs lots of overhauling.

This doctor and his staff are atroucious. From the “Practice Manager” ELLIOT who was a completely incompetent to the doctor who made hideous jokes of things offensive, I would never go back to this office. The lady who checked me in smelled like an ashtray. The doctor was demeaning and would ask things like “Do you know what this means?” Well... what am I paying you for? NEVER GO TO THIS OFFICE!!! Bad service horrible doctor.

I have been to see the Doctor twice. It was under emergency conditions, (So I thought). He came in, looked at my CT Scan, and informed me of my ACTUAL diagnosis. Very direct, very courteous, and spot on. If you want someone who is going to give the information to you directly and to the point, this is your man. I, personally love that about this Doctor and will continue to see him.

I had a hearing aid tip lodged in my right ear. Walked in as a patient but without an appointment. Misty, the woman who was at the desk, was extremely professional and exhibited sincere concern with my condition. She told me that the office does not take walk-ins but that she would ask Dr. Weingarten whether he would make an exception given my discomfort. He did and it's all because of Misty's efforts and compassion. In summary, the tip was removed and I'm a happy camper.

I had a terrific experience with Dr. Weingarten! I thought I was losing my hearing until Dr. Weingarten very professionally cured my loss of hearing problem. I highly recommend this extremely competent physician!
